Baby Alpaca Cloud is a dream of a yarn. This yarn has a cotton 4ply core with a halo of baby alpaca spun around it. The meterage on this yarn is amazing since this base knits up as more of a DK weight but has the meterage closer to a fingering weight.

100gr - 380m / 415 yrd
56% Baby alpaca
44% Peruvian pima cotton

Because of how the baby alpaca is spun, you can work this yarn on a multitude of needle sizes. When knitted or crocheted on the larger needle sizes, a light and airy piece will be made. The sample is made on a 4,5mm needle and has a 16 stitch gauge. I've also worked up swatches on 4mm (17 stitch gauge) and 3,5mm (18 stitch gauge). Gauge is very personal and dependent on if you're a tight or loose knitter or crocheter. My supplier their stitch gauge is 23,5 stitch on 3mm and 21 stitch on 4mm. I'm personally not a loose knitter.

When I say this yarn is soft, it’s soft soft. Itch factor differs per person but I can feel no itch whatsoever. This yarn creates a lovely soft and light fabric when knitted or crocheted.

Right now Baby Alpaca Cloud is available in the following colors
-Cherry Blossom
-Petal
-Clover
-Snow (undyed)
-Fog (undyed)

Super Cute! Stuffing Seems to Poke Out
Color: Frog&strawberry
These kids bath sponges are super cute! My daughter loves the strawberry one. It's soft, and well made, and doesn't irritate her skin. The size is just right for little hands, and they seem to be holding up well so far. One thing I noted is that some of the stuffing seemed to be poking out when I first opened it, but it came off easily and doesn't seem to be getting worse.

Great work on the recent history of strategic studies and strategy in practice.
Format: Kindle
While not perfect, certainly one of the best works on strategy I've read recently and possibly the best work on post-1945 strategic history I've read in a while. Two main flaws or issues of contention: Strachan's critique of civil-military relations is at times lucid, but at other times appears to come slightly off the rails. Second, the books origin as a (much altered and added too) collection of articles shows through in the many areas which it doubles back on itself covering ground previously well trodden, at times this is done to build on previously mentioned ideas, at other times it seems overly repetitive. On the whole it is an excellent assessment and critique of the recent history of Strategic Studies as a field, as a historian I find many of his disciplinary critiques of the history/IR balance quite convincing, but I suppose I'm biased.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
Can't say I agree with the author's analysis, but it is interesting to read something that is not laced with political correctness. This seems an honest assessment of how things are. I recommend it.

An unputdownable reading on all matters strategic!
Format: Kindle
Hew Stratchan has used a clear and lucid narrative style to throw light upon the otherwise drab subject of strategy, drawing upon his talent as an historian, contemporising it in the current global environment, and has presented a practical guide to understanding strategic theory and putting it in practice.
