This NEMA 17-size hybrid bipolar stepping motor has an integrated 28 cm (11″) threaded rod as its output shaft, turning it into a linear actuator capable of precision open-loop positioning. The included traveling nut has four mounting holes and moves 40 µm (1.6 mil) per full step; finer resolution can be achieved with microstepping. The stepper motor has a 1.8° step angle (200 steps/revolution) and each phase draws 1.7 A at 2.8 V, allowing for a holding torque of 3.7 kg-cm (51 oz-in).This linear positioning drive consists of our 42×38 mm NEMA17 stepper motor with a built-in lead screw in place of the normal output shaft, which makes it easy to move an object or platform in a linear motion with the precision of a stepper motor. Motors like this are especially popular for use in home-built 3D printers (e.g. RepRap) and CNC machines. The stainless steel threaded rod extends 28 cm (11″) from the face of the stepper motor, and since it is integrated into the motor itself, you do not have to deal with bulky shaft couplers or loose set screws.
The included copper alloy traveling nut (also known as a carriage nut) features a mounting flange with four holes threaded for M3 screws. The nut moves 8.0 mm per full revolution of the lead screw, which allows for a linear resolution of 0.040 mm per full step of the stepper motor. Even smaller step sizes can be achieved through microstepping, which is a feature of many bipolar stepper motor drivers. We recommend the DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier for use with this stepper motor, which allows for a linear resolution of 1.25 µm per 1/32 microstep.
The maximum achievable linear speed depends a lot on the details of the system, including the load and motor supply voltage. Under ideal conditions (e.g. with gradual ramping up of the step rate, a high supply voltage, and no load), we were able to achieve speeds close to 30 cm/s (12 in/s).
The stepper motor has a 1.8° step angle (200 steps/revolution) and each phase draws 1.7 A at 2.8 V, allowing for a holding torque of 3.7 kg-cm (51 oz-in). The motor has four color-coded wires terminated with a JST XHP-4 connector with 0.1" spacing: black and green connect to one coil; red and blue connect to the other. It can be controlled by a pair of suitable H-bridges (one for each coil), but we recommend using a bipolar stepper motor driver.

Verified Real Sheepskin, High Quality, Looks Great

I was initially a little skeptical of the “real sheepskin” claim, so I really appreciated how much effort the seller put into transparency and verification.
This console cover comes with a detailed information sheet explaining how to identify real vs faux sheepskin using a burn test, and it also includes samples of both genuine and fake sheepskin so you can see the difference for yourself. That alone gave me much more confidence than most listings.
To verify the actual product, I carefully tested a very small, hidden area on the backside of the console cover itself. While the hair did briefly ignite (which initially gave me pause), everything else aligned with real sheepskin:
The smell was unmistakably burnt hair, not chemicals or plastic
The fibers did not melt like synthetic material
The burned area turned into soft, powdery ash, not hard or plastic like beads
Comparing my results to the included info sheet and photos, it clearly behaved like genuine sheepskin. Based on the smell, texture, and burn behavior, I’m fully convinced this is real.
The cover itself is very soft and well made. The black color is a true black (not faded or grayish), and it adds a nice upgrade to the interior. My daughter mainly wanted it for the look and the softness, and she’s been very happy with it.
It fits well on a standard center console and has stayed in place during regular driving. This should work nicely for most SUVs, sedans, and crossover vehicles that have a center console between the seats. This was for a 2019 Acura RDX.
Overall, this is a quality product, and the seller’s claims about authenticity were accurate. I really respect that they give customers the tools to verify it themselves.

The fluffer puffer console saved my clothes and is super cute in my car!

Not for Honda Civics
I just want to start with saying that this is beautiful and very high quality. I really wasn’t expecting much with the price point being so low. But the cover is very soft and cozy. It is too big for my 2018 honda civic center console, I really wish it fit because I love this thing! I’ve just had it next to me while I sit on the couch and have been petting it the last couple hours. I’ll find somewhere else to put it because it’s that soft and pretty. If this will fit your car than I 100% recommend it!

Very pretty, has a bit of a smell
Only docking this item one star because of the smell. It's genuine sheepskin so it definitely smells like.... sheep. I've never bought genuine sheepskin before so I'm not sure if that's always the case. I think after it airs out for a while it should be fine, but it was a little off-putting for me at first.
Besides that though it looks BEAUTIFUL. I bought it to cover up some dog claw marks on the center console since I got my car used. It covers them up, and also makes my car look fancier. I think it should last a long time as long as I make sure to not spill anything on it.
Overall, it seems very well made, is super soft and comfortable, was good value, fit really well on the center console (I have a Subaru Forester), and it was totally worth getting.
