Cykeln använder inte en full växelgrupp utan Shimano SLX bakväxeln justeras med hjälp av Dia-Compe UNO friktionsreglaget, ballt! Du ska därför kunna kränga på nästan vilken bakväxel och kassett som helst, och växelreglaget kan hantera det. Utväxlingen på 36 x 11-46T är tillräckligt snabb för cykelns ändamål, men framförallt tar du dig upp för branta backar på steniga vägar. Hojar du nedför stoppar du cykeln med de finaste mekansika bromsoken på marknaden, Growtac Equal, som tillverkas i Japan. Rune Hilt Bar på 48 cm (595 mm c-c i bocken) erbjuder fantastisk stabilitet och komfort. Med quillstam och 26mm diameter flexar cockpiten något, tillsammans med 2,35"-däck glider du alltså fram på stenkross.
