Sometimes we can only come to know ourselves best when we let others in. Such can certainly be said of NYC multi-instrumentalist and artist Andrya Ambro, and her band Gold Dime, on the eve of their second full-length My House. See, she's played these instruments and crafted these songs her entire life, having honed her decisive sit/stand style of transfixing drumming and provocative singing to a degree of perfectionism. Coming from her previous, highly acclaimed noisy rock duo Talk Normal, Gold Dime's first release, 2017's Nerves, was the first time Ambro has had no one to answer to but herself. My House sees a new, more collective effort being made, with Ian Douglas-Moore on bass and John Bohannon (Ancient Ocean J.R. Bohannon) on guitar. And it very much shows. Walking a tightrope between unapologetic art rock and disarming intimacy, she integrates triumphant doubled guitars whose distorted fuzz winks at the mayhem of Les Rallizes Denudes, deep floor toms that quick pivot to galvanizing beats on a bed of dead spinning cymbals, to sometimes spoken, sometimes sung Laurie Anderson-esque words that uplift into a many voiced choir. And the warm bass lines, well they would make Holger Czukay from CAN very proud. My House, according to Ambro, is intended to be something of a gruff father's declaration at dinner, fist slamming on the table, but rather than the stubborn, undying manners that would come with "living under my roof," she only demands that everything be done with the same degree of tireless dedication and authenticity. "I want every beat to be played with intention. 'Cause why play if you don't mean it?" Every moment of this album acts as just that-a demand to own something, whether it be self or art or place in this world. We have no choice but to listen, to respect it. Soft, Warm, and Holds Up Well After Washing
We grabbed this primarily for couch lounging and it has been a regular rotation blanket since it arrived. The softness is legitimate, not the kind that feels good out of the packaging and then stiffens up after a wash or two. It has gone through the machine multiple times and both the texture and the leopard print have held up without fading or pilling. The 50 by 60 inch size is a comfortable fit for one person stretched out on the couch.
It is warm without being heavy, which makes it practical across seasons rather than just winter. The print looks sharp and adds some personality to a living room without being over the top. For a throw blanket at this price, the quality is better than expected and it has earned a permanent spot on our couch. If you are looking for something soft, visually interesting, and durable enough to actually use regularly, this one delivers.

Pretty good blanket. Slightly larger than normal throw.
I purchased this leopard print throw blanket because you can get it in twin size and twin size is a lot more usable in not only a bed but also on a couch. Like if you have two people sitting next to each other, it's a lot easier to use the twin size than a throw size, which I feel is a little bit cramped.
In addition to that, I saw in the picture that this looked almost like fur. Now when you look at it in person, you can clearly tell it's not for it's got almost like a a spotted pattern even with the spots. And while I don't know if leopards actually look like that, certainly at a distance, it feels a lot more accurate than things that are only vaguely leopard printed like the the common pink ones, as you can see here in the other variety. But certainly the Brown leopard one looks good.
Plus, it is comfortable and pretty soft. It's softer on one side than another side, but only slightly and while it's rolled over and stitched at the edges, it is a single layer throughout. So it's not going to give you a ton of warmth. But I will give you some warmth, you know just enough to be nice and that means you can use it year round.
So overall at this price for a twin size leopard print throw. I think this is a good deal. Well I think it could be a better deal. I've certainly seen worse so I think I could recommend this product

Pink cheetah blanket
Color: Pink Leopard, Size: Throw(50" x 60")
I recently got this pink cheetah print throw blanket, and honestly, it’s such a fun and cozy addition to my space. The first thing that stood out to me was the design—the pink leopard print is super cute and adds a pop of personality to my couch without being too overwhelming.

Good quality
Color: Pink, Size: 50"Wx60"L
My great granddaughter asked for this throw so I purchased it for her. The throw is so soft and looks exactly like the picture. The quality is good and the price was right. It’s light weight so she can roll it up and throw in her backpack to take to friends houses. I received the throw on time and I would recommend this product and seller.

It sheds

When I bought the blanket with the assumption that it would be pink leopard on both sides. Unfortunately, when I retrieved, my package it was white on the inside and pink leopard on the outside. It was nice until it started to shed so I gave it to my sister. I did not like the size I should've gotten something way bigger. It will keep you warm though. Especially during your period. It wasn't all the way soft because one side was odd the other is what you actually offer so that part I didn't like very much. Overall it does get the warming job done.
