Description:

Here for your consideration is a 1983 Aria Pro II PE-R80KV in very good condition! One of Japan's famed Matsumoku Factory's most illustrious unique takes on a Les Paul style guitar. Designed by Nobuaki Hayashi the Aria Pro II PE-R80KV incorporated cutting edge features such as the heelless neck joint (similar to B.C. Rich guitars of that era), carved top and back with matching control cover, countersunk controls and switches and came factory equipped with USA DiMarzio Dual Sound Humbuckes - the sought after early 4 conductor versions of the Super Distortion.

This one remains very good condition for being over 40 years old! Body shows some light surface marks, scratches, and dings but overall is very clean with no major damage or issues. Back of neck is in excellent shape with no notable damage or blemishes. Headstock shows some wear along the edge but is otherwise very clean. Fretboard is very clean but there is some finish chipping in the clear coat along the fretboard edges (See pictures). Frets show some wear and divots, mostly in the first 5 frets but have no issues with buzzing or dead spots and still have a good amount of life left. Hardware shows some aging, oxidization, and pitting but is in overall good shape and working perfectly, including the Kahler trem system. Includes a replacement silver trem arm. Electronics work great and features a set of Maxon "Classic Power" humbuckers with coil tap switches for both the neck and bridge pickup. A great playing and very high quality guitar made in the legendary Matsumoku factory. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag.

From the web:

The 1983 Aria Pro II PE-R80KV is a high-end, vintage electric guitar manufactured at the renowned Matsumoku factory in Japan. This specific model is a variant of the prestigious PE-R80 series, distinguished primarily by its factory-installed Kahler tremolo system (denoted by the "KV" suffix). It represents the pinnacle of Aria's "Prototype" series, which aimed to modernize the traditional single-cutaway design with ergonomic improvements and versatile electronics

  • Body Construction: Features a "sandwich" design with a mahogany center between carved maple top and back pieces.
  • Neck Design: A three-piece maple set-neck featuring Aria's signature Heel-Less Cutaway. This design provides unparalleled access to the upper 22 frets by smoothing the transition where the neck meets the body.
  • Electronics: Equipped with two "Classic Power" humbuckers (often Maxon MMK75). It includes two "Dual Sound" mini-toggle switches that allow players to switch each pickup between series and parallel wiring for diverse tonal options.
  • Hardware: Distinctive gold hardware, including a brass nut and a Kahler Tremolo.
  • Aesthetics: Known for its "cloud" fingerboard inlays on an ebony or rosewood fretboard and multiple body binding

My dogs favorite!
My dogs love these! They will play all day if you'd let them, these balls are their favorites. I use the chuck-it handle and they get tons of exercise in the big yard!

The Dog LOVES IT!
I bought this for my ex-wife's Pitbull. He is an aggressive chewer and usually destroys any toy I buy him. But not this one! The ball is small enough and pliable that it gives when he chomps on it. He loves this ball and seems to be his favorite toy. Thank you for making a product that he likes and can't destroy!

My Golden Retriever’s favorite
We’ve owned lots of toys and balls. This specific version (in blue) has been her absolute favorite. She’s about 72lbs and chews on this thing regularly with no visible damage. We actually own about 6 of them because they have a tendency to go missing underneath furniture and in the yard. We have two of the orange colored ones but she doesn’t like those nearly as much which I assume is because the blue is easier to see in the grass. Other than that…They bounce really well and also whistle a little when you throw them hard enough. I hope they never stop making these.

doesn't whistle as loud as other chuckit balls I've seen, but a good ball.
makes some noise, but I've seen (and played with) others at the dog park that whistle much louder than the 1 I got. all Chuckit balls... so, just this one I'm betting. but it flys good and the dog loves to chase it. he chews it a fair bit as well and the ball has not taken much damage from him (lab mix) or others that have had a go at it. I'll likely buy another at some point ... just wish it was a little louder when flying.

Blue ball, my dog likes blue.
Just a ball right? Evidently not! My dog won’t chase an orange chuck it ball or the glow in the dark ball- only the blue one 🤷🏼‍♀️
