The Bosch Non-addressable Fiber Interface is a compact, highly reliable bridging solution designed to connect a Praesideo network with a multi-mode glass fiber interconnection, delivering a seamless link to a second fiber interface. Engineered for mission-critical environments, this interface prioritizes simplicity, robustness, and low power consumption by drawing power directly from the Praesideo network. Its compact form factor, combined with an integrated mounting clamp, makes installation straightforward in cramped equipment spaces, control rooms, or field enclosures. By isolating control from payload data and enabling a dedicated fiber path, the Bosch Non-addressable Fiber Interface helps ensure consistent performance, minimal latency, and dependable operation across diverse installations—from public safety communications centers to large-scale industrial campuses. This product is designed to support reliable interconnectivity between networks while maintaining signal integrity over multi-mode fiber, making it an ideal component for systems that require scalable, non-addressable fiber interfacing with ease of deployment.

  • The device provides a compact, rugged, non-addressable interface that securely bridges the Praesideo network to a multi-mode glass fiber interconnection and then to a second fiber interface. Its streamlined design reduces space requirements in equipment racks and control cabinets, enabling installations in environments where airflow and space are at a premium. The integration of a mounting clamp simplifies mounting without the need for specialized hardware, which translates into faster deployments on-site and reduced installation labor. With this interface, technicians can extend the Praesideo network reach while preserving the integrity of the fiber link, ensuring reliable communication paths across distances typical of medium-scale facilities. The non-addressable nature of the unit minimizes configuration overhead, allowing operators to focus on signal delivery and system performance instead of network addressing complexities.
  • Signal integrity and performance are at the core of this interface. By employing a multi-mode fiber interconnection, the device supports high-bandwidth transmission with robust tolerance to minor insertion losses and modal dispersion typical of multi-mode systems. The interface is designed to maintain stable transmission characteristics even in environments with electrical noise, HVAC disturbances, or mechanical vibrations. Its architecture emphasizes dependable alignment and connection to the second fiber interface, helping to prevent signal degradation and ensuring consistent data delivery for critical announcements, alerts, and coordinated responses across the Praesideo network.
  • Ease of installation and integration stands out as a key benefit. The compact unit with a mounting clamp is suited for quick mounting in standard enclosures, equipment racks, or service panels. Because it is powered from the Praesideo network, there is no need for an additional power supply, simplifying wiring diagrams and reducing cable clutter. The interface provides straightforward connectivity to the Praesideo network on one side and to a multi-mode fiber path on the other, plus a dedicated path to a second fiber interface. This configuration supports scalable deployments where multiple fiber links may be required for redundancy, expansion, or routing larger signal footprints across a campus or facility.
  • Operational efficiency and reliability are enhanced through simplified maintenance and serviceability. The non-addressable design reduces the potential points of failure associated with network addressing schemes, while the fiber-based path offers isolation between control and payload data. The unit is designed for continuous operation in demanding environments and is engineered to minimize power consumption by drawing power from the Praesideo network. In practice, this translates to lower heat generation, fewer cables, and easier field troubleshooting—benefiting facilities managers and technicians who require dependable, long-life performance without frequent interventions.
  • Versatile applications and deployment flexibility characterize the Bosch Non-addressable Fiber Interface. It is well-suited for connecting Praesideo networks to secondary fiber interfaces in settings such as public safety operations, large campuses, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure sites. The multi-mode fiber interconnection supports efficient data transfer across moderate distances while preserving signal fidelity. The compact form factor and simple mounting approach make it feasible to retrofit existing installations or to size and plan future expansions without major redesigns. This interface offers a practical path to extend the reach of a Praesideo system while maintaining a robust fiber backbone for reliable voice, paging, and alerting services.

great case!
Color: Navy Blue
pros; the color is beautiful. I picked the navy blue. It is exactly as the description described. It goes very well with my blue iPad. The size is very precise and fits perfectly on my iPad. The magnet that holds the case together is very strong. The iPad itself can pivot vertically and horizontally using that magnet. This works very smooth. The magnet closure for the case itself is strong and holds well. The magnet that holds the keyboard in place also works very well. Cons; when the keyboard is in its correct position, it is difficult to angle the iPad in front into the provided grooves. The keyboard gets into the way. This prevents the iPad from reaching the grooves provided. The keyboard feels very light and cheap. The keyboard itself connected with the Bluetooth very easily. It works wonderful. I love the back light on the keyboard. The color of the keyboard is wonderful. However, as I said above, it does feel a bit cheap. But for 20 bucks, what can you ask for. When the case is folded together with the keyboard in the iPad, it is a bit bulky. But I knew that from the previous reviews and was expecting it. What I love most about this case is that the iPad can be removed using the magnet on the back from the keyboard portion, but it is still protected by the exterior plastic case. So in situations where I don’t need to use my keyboard, I can remove the iPad itself and know that it’s still protected overall I recommend this product.

Nice Case & Keyboard
Color: Blue
Love this case with a keyboard. I like using the keyboard vs using one on the screen of iPad. And the keyboard has rechargeable batteries instead of having to buy batteries. And it protects my iPad.

Beautiful, and everything I want it except that the keyboard keys didn’t work😭
Color: Light Pink
I searched and search for the right keyboard case for me. The most important thing for me was to be able to remove the iPad case itself from the whole case and keyboard, and this one was it. Unfortunately, when I started checking the keyboard a lot of The keys were not output in the correct symbol or letters. So defeats the whole purpose of having a keyboard. I returned it and asked for a replacement, thinking that the item was defected, but when I got the New replacement, it was the same thing so I tried to contact the seller, but there was no option to do that. Therefore, I had to return the second replacement keyboard and look for another keyboard cover.

Quality and Functional
Color: Navy Blue, Color: Navy Blue
I was looking for a case that could rotate and includes a keyboard. I have the gen 5 Ipad Air and it fits just fine. The part that rotates is magnetic (pretty strong) so if i just want the part with the ipad, I can just take it off. Keyboard is magnetic and the touchpad is such a bonus. It was easy to connect and every key works (can also change light color). Im also really impressed with the quality of the case, its pretty thick and even the plastic is nice. The navy blue color is also super cute, wish they had a dark red color too.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - I LOVE THIS!!!
Color: Pink
I absolutely LOVE this case and the keyboard - it’s absolutely perfect in just about every way. If I had to get nit-picky and find something to give feedback on, I would say it is a bit heavy and it is a bit annoying that you have to move the keyboard forward when you want to use it and backward when you want to close up the case but I don’t care, I love it!
