This universal frame protection strip helps shield your bike¢¬s paintwork from damage. It creates a clear protective barrier that¢¬s 12 mils thick, with a matte/satin texture to blend seamlessly with your frame¢¬s finish.
Simply measure, apply, and trim as needed for a custom fit. A straightforward DIY installation.
How to apply:
- Trim to size with a sharp pair of scissors or knife
- Ensure the areas of application are clean and grease-free.
- Remove the backing tape slowly as you apply the tape.
- Gently smooth down to remove any small bubbles and ensure edges are smoothed out and fully stuck down.
- For the best adhesion, the tape and paintwork should be at room temperature (approx. 20 degrees Celsius or above) and applied with a firm application pressure to ensure a better bond.
- A hair drier can be used to get the tape to temperature and help remove any creases in the tape.
