Pet Shop Boys-inspired 'West End Girls' v2 Art Print'West End Girls' was one of my earliest favourite 80s new wave songs; this is my second version of it. I wanted one with a clear London reference (hey, Big Ben!), and ideally one with both East End boys and West End Girls in it (it was years before I realized that West End girls were posh, and East End boys were rough); in this amazing vintage retro pulp paperback cover, the West End girl is kinda scary, but I love how her eyes reflect the 'dead end

'West End Girls' was one of my earliest favourite 80s new wave songs; this is my second version of it. I wanted one with a clear London reference (hey, Big Ben!), and ideally one with both East End boys and West End Girls in it (it was years before I realized that West End girls were posh, and East End boys were rough); in this amazing vintage retro pulp paperback cover, the West End girl is kinda scary, but I love how her eyes reflect the 'dead end world'.
