Experience enterprise-grade storage with the Accortec 500 GB Hard Drive. This 2.5" internal HDD is engineered for reliability, performance, and seamless integration into servers and storage arrays. Built to handle demanding workloads, it delivers swift data access, robust endurance, and efficient operation in data centers, workstations, and RAID environments. Whether you're expanding a rack-mounted NAS, upgrading a SAN, or refreshing a legacy server, this drive provides consistent throughput and dependable long-term storage. Designed for professionals who value uptime, the Accortec drive pairs a compact form factor with a robust SAS interface to keep critical applications responsive and data readily accessible.

In modern IT environments, data growth and application demands require storage that can keep pace without breaking the budget. The Accortec 500 GB SAS HDD is purpose-built to meet those needs. The 2.5" form factor makes it ideal for dense server configurations, high-density storage shelves, and portable enterprise storage enclosures. The SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) interface delivers steady throughput with lower latency than many traditional interfaces, enabling faster boot times for OS drives, quicker database access, and smoother virtual machine performance. Beyond raw speed, SAS offers reliability features that support data integrity in multichannel and multi-user environments, helping to minimize retry cycles and maximize the time data spends in users’ hands rather than on the drive’s surface.

This hard drive is designed to integrate effortlessly into a wide range of enterprise ecosystems. It fits into standard 2.5" drive bays and works with SAS controllers and RAID arrays commonly deployed in data centers, edge deployments, and enterprise workspaces. The balance of capacity, form factor, and SAS connectivity makes it a versatile choice for everyday storage tasks as well as critical workloads. Whether used for operating system storage, application data, or as part of a larger storage pool, the Accortec 500 GB drive helps administrators optimize I/O patterns, improve data locality, and maintain predictable performance under load. Its reliability-oriented design supports long-term service delivery and reduces maintenance overhead for busy IT teams.

  • High-performance SAS interface - The drive uses Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) with a 6Gb/s data transfer rate, delivering faster sustained reads and writes compared to traditional SATA drives, helping reduce bottlenecks in busy databases and application servers. SAS also provides robust error handling and data integrity features that keep mission-critical workloads responsive even under heavy I/O.
  • 2.5" form factor for flexible deployment - Compact 2.5" design fits in most enterprise drive bays, enabling dense server configurations, streamlined cabling, and easier maintenance in rack-mounted environments. The smaller footprint helps optimize airflow and heat management in crowded data center racks while preserving capacity for essential data.
  • Reliable 500 GB capacity for everyday workloads - A balanced capacity option for OS drives, virtualization caches, or medium-sized data repositories. This size provides strong price-to-performance for boot drives, application data caches, backup targets, or space-constrained storage pools without sacrificing responsiveness during peak operations.
  • Enterprise-grade reliability for 24x7 operations - Built to endure demanding workloads in data centers, development labs, and enterprise IT environments. The drive is engineered with durability and error-management features designed to sustain consistent performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and contribute to steady service levels across critical applications.
  • Seamless integration into SAS ecosystems - Designed to work with standard SAS controllers and RAID configurations, making replacement or expansion straightforward in existing storage architectures. Its compatibility helps administrators extend storage capacity or rebalance workloads without complex reconfiguration.

How to install Accortec 500 GB SAS HDD

Installing the Accortec 500 GB SAS hard drive is a straightforward process in most SAS-enabled servers and storage arrays. Follow these general steps to ensure a smooth installation and optimal performance:

  • Power down the system and disconnect it from the power source to prevent any electrical damage.
  • Open the server or storage enclosure and locate an available 2.5" drive bay suitable for SAS drives.
  • Remove any existing drive tray or mounting bracket as needed, and prepare the Accortec drive for installation by aligning its mounting holes with the drive tray.
  • Slide the drive into the bay until it seats firmly, then secure it with the appropriate screws or fasteners provided by the chassis.
  • Connect the SAS data cable from the drive bay to the SAS controller or backplane, followed by connecting the power cable to the drive, ensuring secure and clean cable routing to avoid obstruction of fans or airflow.
  • Reinstall the drive tray and close the chassis. Power on the system and enter the BIOS/RAID configuration utility to recognize the new drive. Initialize the drive as needed and add it to the appropriate array or storage pool.
  • In the operating system, format the new drive as required for your applications or storage strategy (for example, NTFS, ext4, or a logical drive within a RAID-managed volume).
  • Perform a quick health check and monitor drive SMART status through your management software to confirm healthy operation after installation.

If you haven't switched to boxer briefs, you're missing out :)
Size: 11 Plus, Color: Microfiber - Colors May Vary
I figured I ought to provide a review, something I'm not prone to doing even though I often/always bank my purchases on item reviews, since I just bought me a second set of these underwear because they're just that good! I bought my 1st set of these 2 months ago because I was on the hunt for some new comfortable underwear and omfort was my main criteria. Wasn't aware that I was dealing with some health issues that was causing a fair bit of internal inflammation, just knew that I had had enough of basically everything I had at the time because they were old, ratty looking and even my all-time favorites had begun feeling too... something... not exactly too tight, yet they just weren't very comfortable anymore either and I didn't need that kind of extra stress in my life. But. I'm a barely-makin-it domestic violence survivor. Sure, I'm super proud to have gotten as far as I have in this world (considering that post-separation psychological terrorism and torture continue to thus day, 5 years after I broke free) but, by rights and family-rearing, I should be living in a whole different world right now... which is my way of saying that money is extra, EXTRA tight in my house...and yet, I still have "caviar tastes", ifykwim. Lol. And, frankly, neither I nor anyone else should have to scrimp on comfortable, classy-feeling, fashionable clothing no matter how small our clothing budget may be. I was spurred to check out boxer briefs for women after reading about a few different women's favorite brands in the comments on soneones IG post (that must have been in regards to underwear, but heck if I can remember the details). So, off I went to scout around on Amazon to see what this "boxer briefs" business was about... desperately hoping that the term was not just a rebranding of those "hipsters" things. I am 46yo, 5'10" (potentially closer to 5'11"... not something I care enough about to know for certain, lol) and, clothing size-wise, my whole adult life I have consistently been a 16-18/18-20, top to bottom, with a shape that seems some what apple-ish at the moment but has, in general, always been more hourglass than apple. Also it seems as if I might have rather freakishly high hips, lol... not really, but for reference, when it comes to pants or jeans what generally passes as "tall", usually a 33"-34" inseem, fit like ankle or cigar length pants on me. But evidently I don't just have long legs, no, this momma's body seems to also have one heck of a long, tall pelvis which I did finally measure to figure out for sure but, prior to that, I could tell based on the way that low cut underwear like bikini & hipsters, and any form of low rise pants, barely make it north of my low lying c-section scar location which, for those who can't relate, is basically at the top of my hooha or just at the point where my belly and my hooha meet. And because that point on my body is not even remotely close to my "hip" area such items basically fall right off my body unless they're super stretchy and I deliberately hike them up to my hip area which I put up with in my 20s and 30s, for the sake of fashion I suppose, but which was and is quite ungodly uncomfortable, and... basically... I am so over with "uncomfortable" anything (men included, lol.) In both cases I bought size 11, though, if I'm being honest, I am certain that a 10 would have fit well, too. And who knows, a 10 might have been just as comfortable or even more comfortable than the 11... but, I didn't take bother taking the chance to find out when I ordered my second set because the first set (size 11) made me so unbelievably happy that they literally changed my views about underwear for life. This whole "pants come off after work" thing or the memes about people working from home (due to covid restrictions) and not wearing pants never jived with me prior to having these boxer briefs, but now... omg... these things are super inexpensive and somehow still suit my somewhat "caviar taste" perfectly (have a good handfeel and are just so unbelievably super comfortable), PLUS... they're opaque and they basically fit (and look) like I'm wearing a loungy pair of bike shorts, so... yeah, I've spent some time over the last 2 months actually chillin in my house in my freaking underwear!!!! Life. Changing. :D

No elastic around the thighs is kinda nice!
Size: 9, Color: Cotton Stretch - Colors May Vary
Great undies! They fit good and the fabric is comfortable. Only thing is that the legs tend to ride up/bunch up with pants on. I got them for post surgery comfort and thats what I got.

Soooo comfortable
Size: 11 Plus, Color: Microfiber - Colors May Vary
Easy on/off because they really do stretch but return to shape. Fit is close to the body but not tight. Love that there is no elastic binding around my legs. Clothes glide over them because they are super smooth. Might never buy another style again.
