Power pockets of the world where outlets are scarce with the Tripp Lite by Eaton 2000W Light-Duty Compact Power Inverter. This compact, reliable inverter converts 12 V DC from your battery bank or vehicle into a clean 120 V AC supply, designed to run a wide range of devices—from smartphones and laptops to small tools and household appliances. Its pure sine wave output protects sensitive electronics, while practical features like two standard outlets, a USB charging port, and a wired remote make installation flexible and convenient whether you’re on the road, at a campsite, or off grid.

  • Pure sine wave output — Delivers clean, stable power that safely powers sensitive electronics, multimedia equipment, and motor-driven devices without the noise, flicker, or surges associated with modified sine wave inverters.
  • 2000 watts continuous power — Provides ample, reliable capacity for everyday needs, including small power tools, kitchen appliances, and charging circuitry. Designed for light-duty use where you need dependable AC power from a 12V source.
  • Two 5-15/20R outlets — Enables direct connection of standard North American plug devices without adapters, allowing you to run multiple devices simultaneously from a single unit.
  • USB charging port — Keeps mobile devices powered on the go, so you can charge phones, tablets, or portable accessories directly from the inverter without needing a separate power bank.
  • Wired remote included — Mounts in a convenient location and gives you convenient control for on/off operation and monitoring at a distance, ideal for vehicle installs, workstations, or mounting panels.

how to install Tripp Lite by Eaton 2000W Light-Duty Compact Power Inverter

For safe, reliable setup, follow these practical guidelines that cover common installation scenarios—whether in a vehicle, boat, RV, or stationary battery bank. Always consult your device manuals and use the proper gauge wiring and fusing for your installation.

  • Choose a vented, dry location — Place the inverter in a well-ventilated area away from moisture, direct sunlight, and flammable materials. Adequate airflow helps maintain performance and longevity.
  • Prepare the power source — Use a suitable deep-cycle or automotive 12 V battery with sufficient capacity. Ensure the battery is in good condition and connected to a clean, isolated power source to prevent backfeed or electrical hazards.
  • Disconnect power before wiring — Safety first: disconnect the negative (−) terminal, then the positive (+) terminal from the battery before making connections to the inverter. Reconnect after wiring is complete.
  • Connect the DC input correctly — Attach the inverter’s input leads to the battery terminals using appropriately rated cables and a suitable fuse or circuit breaker placed close to the battery. Ensure a secure, snug connection to prevent loose contacts.
  • Mount and route cables — If mounting the inverter in a vehicle or cabinet, secure it firmly and route power cables to avoid pinch points. Keep cables away from heat sources and moving parts.
  • Connect AC loads thoughtfully — Plug devices into the two 5-15/20R outlets as you would with any standard outlet. Avoid exceeding the inverter’s rated continuous power, and distribute loads when possible.
  • Use the wired remote — Place the remote in a convenient, accessible spot. Use it to power the inverter on or off as needed, especially when the unit is mounted out of reach.
  • Test safely — After wiring, restore battery power and test with a low-wattage device first. Confirm the remote works, and monitor for any unusual heat or odors during initial operation.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is the Tripp Lite 2000W inverter best for? It’s ideal for campers, utility vehicles, off-grid setups, and small workshops where you need a reliable 12V DC-to-120V AC power source with clean sine-wave output to protect electronics.
  • Can I power a refrigerator or freezer with this inverter? Yes, depending on the appliance’s running and starting wattage. Most compact refrigerators have modest running watts, but the initial surge can be higher. Plan by checking the appliance’s starting watts and ensure your inverter’s continuous power rating supports it. Distribute the load and avoid running multiple high-demand devices at once.
  • Does the inverter include a remote control? Yes. A wired remote is included, enabling convenient operation from a distance or from a mounted control panel.
  • Is USB charging available on this inverter? Yes. A USB charging port provides convenient charging for smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices without needing a separate adapter.
  • What safety features does it offer? The inverter includes overload protection, short-circuit protection, and thermal protection to help prevent damage to both the inverter and connected equipment. For best results, install in a well-ventilated area and monitor heat during use.
  • Can it run in a vehicle or boat? Yes. The compact unit is designed for use in vehicles, boats, RVs, and off-grid setups where a 12V battery supply is available. Ensure proper wiring, ventilation, and secure mounting to avoid hazards while in motion.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.
