The Panduit SmartZone G5 Intelligent 38-Outlets PDU is a high-density power distribution unit engineered for modern data centers, server rooms, and edge environments. This monitored PDU delivers reliable, scalable power to multiple servers and networking gear while giving you deep insight into energy usage, outlet-level current, and potential overloads. Designed for 208 V AC environments, it features a NEMA L21-30P input and a versatile mix of outlets: 30 IEC 60320 C13, 6 IEC 60320 C19, and 2 NEMA 5-20R. With a compact 0U vertical footprint and rack-mount compatibility, it optimizes space in dense racks and simplifies cable management. The built-in network (RJ-45) interface enables real-time monitoring and centralized control, empowering administrators to balance loads, optimize efficiency, and reduce downtime. By combining intelligent power distribution with robust hardware, the SmartZone G5 helps IT teams maintain uptime, extend equipment life, and control operational costs in today’s data-driven environments.

  • Monitored power distribution with outlet-level visibility: Real-time metrics for voltage, current, and power at each outlet, enabling proactive capacity planning, precise load balancing, and early warning of overload conditions to safeguard critical servers and storage devices.
  • 38-outlet configuration for flexible server deployments: 30 x IEC 60320 C13, 6 x IEC 60320 C19, and 2 x NEMA 5-20R outlets provide broad compatibility with a wide range of servers, switches, and peripherals, while supporting high-density rack layouts.
  • Robust 208 V AC power with NEMA L21-30P input: Designed for data centers that rely on a secure 208 V supply, the L21-30P input ensures a strong, reliable power source for multi-server environments and reduces voltage drop across outlets.
  • 0U vertical, rack-mountable form factor: A space-saving design that fits into standard 19-inch racks, maximizing cabinet capacity and simplifying cable management in crowded data halls.
  • Networked management for centralized control: Integrated RJ-45 connectivity supports remote monitoring, event alerts, and centralized configuration through Panduit’s SmartZone platform, enabling scalable, policy-driven power management across multiple PDUs.

How to install Panduit SmartZone G5 Intelligent 38-Outlets PDU

  • Inspect the rack space to confirm compatibility with a 19-inch rack and ensure there is adequate clearance for outlet connections and cable routing. Verify the 0U footprint aligns with the cabinet layout to maximize efficiency.
  • Power considerations: connect the NEMA L21-30P input to a suitable 208 V AC, 30 A electrical circuit. Ensure proper circuit protection and adherence to local electrical codes before powering the PDU.
  • Mount the PDU in the rack: slide the unit into the rack rails and secure it using the provided mounting hardware. Confirm that the orientation allows convenient access to all outlets and the RJ-45 port for networking.
  • Connect devices to outlets: map servers, switches, storage, and network devices to the appropriate IEC 60320 C13/C19 outlets and the NEMA 5-20R outlets as needed. Plan cable management to minimize tangling and airflow disruption.
  • Networking and configuration: attach the RJ-45 Ethernet cable to your network and power up the PDU. Access the SmartZone management interface to configure IP addressing, enable monitoring, set alert thresholds, and enroll the new PDU into your centralized power management policy. Validate outlet status and connectivity by performing a test workload on critical devices and reviewing live metrics in the dashboard.

Handy until I can purchase a mower
Style: String Trimmer, Style: String Trimmer
I've used this thing heavily 3 times now. I need a mower but haven't had the spare money for one yet so this is what I'm using! My yard is just under 1 acre. I'ma list some pros and cons I've noticed in my good use.. Pros: it works.. really well! As you can see I live in Florida so grass grows super fast in our rainy season if I slack just 2 weeks oh my.. the power is strong, it's easy to work. Auto feed is a big help. I bought extra when I made this purchase I can go through about 1-2 rolls throughout the whole yard. Cons: the wire. It gets in the way so much and my large yard I use a 200 ft cord but that's not always enough so I can't complete my job completely but enough I'm happy with. When the auto feed is low i noticed it constantly over feeds the line and that honestly hurts sometimes! It's and easy fix but after doing it 5 times you're over it. Id just put a new one on but I feel that's just a waste. In the future I will be replacing mine to get rid of the wire.

Light Weight = Maneuverable
Style: String Trimmer
First time use today. It's works great. The light weight makes it so much more maneuverable than my very heavy 15 year old Echo weed line trimmer with heavy 58V battery. The Echo 58V battery died and did not want to spend $220 for new Echo battery with probably old tech battery. Debated on $300 EGO 56V trimmer and this corded 120VAC Black and Decker weed line trimer for $52. Also purchase a 50 ft AWG14 extension cord. The combination is terrific. Again the light weight is a revelation for me. The 6.5 Amp motor is plenty powerful. The thinner .065 line works well cut everything that needed wacking. The auto line feed works well. The length of tool fits me perfectly - I'm 5-4 so it may not be so good for tall folks. I extended to its max length. I wrapped the extension cord a few loops around the trigger handle and had no issues with cord staying on. Highly recommended with one could deal with extension cord. I don't see an issue with reliability and longevity. The electric motor seem well spec and strong. Really not much to go wrong with it. And no battery to deal with. For my very small yard it works great.

Great Light Weight String Trimmer and Edger!
Style: String Trimmer
I'm a 60 year old female and bought this because of the light weight. It was easy to put together, however, the instructions that came with it were terrible. It included only black and white images, with no written instruction. I found a great tutorial on YouTube that told how to assemble it and use it, and another on how to change the string. Buy extra string, so you'll have it ready! It does a great job on weeds and ivy. The edger is great. It is adjustable, but probably not the best for anyone taller than 5'6. It's noisy, but not so bad that it requires ear protection. I like that it's corded which makes it lighter and I don't have to fool with gas or heavy batteries.

Great weed wacker!
Style: String Trimmer
BLACK+DECKER Weed Wacker with Auto Feed, corded 14-Inch 2 in 1 String Trimmer Lawn Edger, Powerful 6.5-Amp. I recently purchased this trimmer and really like it. It took less than a minute to set up, and the adjustable height and handle make it very comfortable to use. It easily rotates between a string trimmer and a wheeled edger for clean lawn borders. I did go through two spools of line for 7,000 sq. ft. of grass, but for the price, it’s a very impressive tool.
