Cisco Combined Services - Service is a flexible ordering model designed to streamline how organizations purchase and manage Cisco’s Technical Services and Advanced Services subscriptions. By bundling existing offerings into a single, configurable package, this model simplifies procurement, improves budgeting predictability, and ensures consistent service coverage across Cisco technologies. It is important to note that Combined Services does not introduce new services; rather, it combines services that are already available as standalone options into a cohesive bundle. This approach is ideal for IT teams seeking a unified support strategy, easier renewal management, and a scalable path to align service levels with evolving business needs. Whether you operate a multinational enterprise, a growing mid-market organization, or a government agency, Combined Services provides a practical framework to maintain robust technical support while preserving the flexibility to adapt coverage as your Cisco environment changes.

  • Simplified procurement and streamlined billing: Cisco Combined Services consolidates multiple service subscriptions into a single, easy-to-manage bundle, reducing the complexity of purchasing and the overhead of handling separate invoices. This simplification helps procurement teams accelerate ordering cycles and ensures consistent eligibility across the entire contract period, making budget planning more predictable.
  • Predictable budgeting with flexible coverage: The bundled model offers options across term lengths and service levels, enabling organizations to forecast costs with greater accuracy. By consolidating coverage for Technical Services and Advanced Services, customers can align spend with strategic initiatives—whether upgrading infrastructure, optimizing performance, or accelerating deployment timelines—without surprise pricing.
  • Broad, enterprise-grade coverage across Cisco technologies: Combined Services encompasses the breadth of Cisco’s service portfolio, spanning hardware lifecycle support, software-enabled services, cloud-adjacent engagements, and specialized technical guidance. This breadth helps ensure consistent support across data center, networking, security, collaboration, and hybrid cloud environments you already rely on.
  • Accelerated deployment and proactive support: Bundling available subscriptions can shorten time-to-value by aligning service onboarding, activation, and governance processes. Customers often experience more proactive health checks, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance as part of the combined coverage, reducing unplanned downtime and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Easy renewal and adaptable upgrade path: The combined model supports straightforward renewal management and the ability to adjust coverage as needs evolve. As your Cisco environment grows or changes, you can refine which services remain within the bundle, add additional services, or re-allocate coverage to reflect current priorities without overhauling contracts.

How to install Cisco Combined Services - Service

Note that Combined Services is a subscription-based service bundle rather than a hardware or software product requiring physical installation. “Installing” Cisco Combined Services means configuring and activating your service bundle within your Cisco account framework and ensuring your organization’s teams are aligned to leverage the bundled coverage. Follow these steps to maximize value from your Combined Services subscription:

  • Assess your current service footprint: Inventory existing Technical Services and Advanced Services subscriptions to determine which offerings are eligible for bundling. Identify critical business systems, data centers, and network segments that will benefit most from unified coverage.
  • Define desired coverage and terms: Decide which service areas to include in the bundle, target service levels, geographic scope, renewal cadence, and the overall contract duration. Align these choices with your IT roadmap, risk posture, and budget cycles.
  • Place the order through Cisco Commerce or an authorized partner: Initiate the Combined Services configuration by selecting the appropriate Technical Services and Advanced Services subscriptions to bundle. Use your organization’s UPC or SKU references when engaging with Cisco sales or channel partners to ensure accurate enrollment.
  • Activate onboarding and governance: Work with your Cisco account team or partner to activate the bundle. Establish service governance, escalation paths, and reporting dashboards. Set up access to any customer portals or management tools associated with the bundled subscriptions.
  • Monitor, review, and adapt: Regularly review service usage, performance metrics, and renewal requirements. Adjust the bundle as your environment evolves—adding or removing services, updating coverage levels, or changing term lengths to maintain alignment with business goals.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What exactly is Cisco Combined Services - Service?
A: It is a purchasing model that bundles existing Technical Services and Advanced Services subscriptions into a single, configurable package. No new services are introduced by the bundle; instead, eligible subscriptions are combined to streamline procurement and management while preserving the underlying offerings' scope and value.
  • Q: How does Combined Services affect my current Cisco service contracts?

A: Changes are typically handled through your Cisco account team or partner. You can adjust the included services, renewal dates, or coverage levels at agreed intervals, ensuring your bundle remains aligned with business priorities and technology strategy.

A bit iffy on these plates
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count, Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
These plates are ok, but certainly not the best I've found. On the positive side, they are what I'd consider "Lunch Size" an are somewhat sturdy. They'll hold a sandwich and chips with little effort so, as a plate, they do... plate. Where I am a bit hesitant is in their molding an construction. You can see in my photos that there is significant staining/watermarking on the plates from the manufacturing process. This could be simply from the way the wet pulp was extruded and formed, but it honestly gives me a bit of the ick. Not that it's particularly gross, but it does make me wonder how sanitary the plates are or what binders might be leeching into my food. In my last photo, you can see a comparison to a compostable plate that I really like. The finish is cleaner and the mold included an inner ridge which gives the plate more stability - making it less likely to flex under weight. Both are sugar cane fiber plates and my preferred plate is a few dollars more expensive for a comparable pack, but the clean appearance and extra rigidity make it worth the added spend in my opinion. Ranking these 3-stars might lead some to think they're bad - and to be clear, I don't think they are. They're just adequate. If you're looking to save a few bucks on a compostable plate, these WILL get the job done. I would just shy away from using them with wet or acidic foods since they don't boast the highest quality of manufacture.

Strong Eco Friendly Plates But Not Great For Hot Food
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
I picked these up because I wanted something more environmentally friendly than the usual plastic or paper stuff. They are made from bamboo and bagasse, and you get a good amount in the pack for the price. For dry stuff like snacks or sandwiches, they are super sturdy and do not bend at all when you pick them up. However, they do not hold up very well when you put hot or wet food on them. Even though they are supposed to be heavy duty, I noticed they can get a little soft if the food is really steaming. They are still perfect for a quick lunch or a party where you want an easy cleanup, but you might want to double them up if you are serving something heavy and hot. The plates are big, and you get quite a bit, making it a really good value overall.

Heavy duty paper plates
Color: Brown, Size: 10 in - 75 count
These disposable plates are amazing. They're large enough to hold an entire Thanksgiving meal. They're sturdy and strong, and won't buckle even when supporting quite a lot of weight. They don't get soggy even when I deliberately poured water in them. The sides are built up to keep food from falling off the plate. These are everything you'd need in a disposable plate, and they're biodegradable, too! These are ideal for barbeques or outdoor entertaining, or even for everyday use in the kitchen.

Compostable Paper Plates
Color: Brown, Size: 9 in - 75 count
I ordered these because I like using paper plates and wanted to see if the compostable ones were strong enough for regular use. They're sturdier than regular paper plates due to the increased thickness of these. I've put heavy food on them like ribs and sides and they haven't bent under the weight. They feel more like pressed cardboard than paper and hold up through a full meal without getting soft. The brown color is a little utilitarian looking but that doesn't really matter for what they are. I guess I wouldn't use them for a party or something fun like that. They stack neatly and take up about the same space as regular paper plates.
