Background
Calcitonin is a hormone that is produced in humans by the parafollicular cells (commonly known as C-cells) of the thyroid gland. It is found in the thyroid of chordates and humans and the endostyle of invertebrates. Calcitonin is involved in helping to regulate levels of calcium and phosphate in the blood, opposing the action of parathyroid hormone.

Rough and tough chew toy

This is a thick and heavy duty toy to stand up to medium to large dogs who are heavy chewers. And the rough textures really encourages my dog and it is the perfect size to throw and play fetch. Very sturdy…I bought around Christmas and it’s almost may and she hasn’t destroyed it yet!!!

Noise level is expected. It’s a squeak toy. If you get annoyed by your dog having fun, get outta here. It’s a bigger toy so I don’t worry about choking. It’s bouncy and a tough material for our tough chewer. Color is whatever! Great toy.
