Le laiton est principalement composé de cuivre et de zinc : l’alliage en confère une bonne aptitude au moulage et à l’usinage, une résistance mécanique, une tenue à la chaleur et une conductivité électrique.
Contrairement aux produits conventionnels du marché, toutefois, nos douilles de plongée en laiton reçoivent un revêtement de protection supplémentaire en nickel. Celui-ci garantit leur résistance durable à la corrosion dans des milieux peu agressifs, de l’air et de l’eau jusqu’aux alcalis et aux acides dilués. En même temps, la couche de nickel empêche que des composants de pâtes thermoconductrices ne dissolvent le cuivre et ne provoquent de la piquration par corrosion.
Les douilles de plongée en acier inoxydable offrent la meilleure protection contre la corrosion. Nous avons choisi VA 1.4571, respectivement AISI 316 Ti : un austénitique particulièrement haut de gamme qui, en plus du chrome, du nickel et du molybdène, contient également du titane. L’alliage s’est révélé particulièrement efficace dans la construction d’appareils chimiques et d’instruments, le traitement des gaz d’échappement et le traitement des eaux usées. Sa résistance à la corrosion s’étend également aux chlorures, c’est-à-dire aux sels, ainsi qu’aux acides plus forts, y compris l’acide chlorhydrique (HCl).

This book provides incite on how to live a productive and rewarding life.
Format: Kindle
Gordon Bernhardt does an excellent job describing his adventure traveling the Camino de Santiago beginning in France and ending in Spain. He describes the impact it had on his personal and professional life and how experiences such as this can reward an individual in all aspects of their life. We are all on a journey through life and with the right perspective, which he delineates, can enhance and reward us and those around us. He encourages us to enjoy our journey and interactions with others. I recommend this book for anyone that wants to get the most out of life and benefit from lessons learned along the way.

"We're All Peregrinos"

I highly recommend this book. I just finished reading it, now it’s time to review and reflect. It’s one of those books that will be kept close at hand because of the many passages useful in daily life. This book isn't just for investors (financial) it's a book for those who believe that life itself is an investment. Thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter are a plus. As stated above, "We're All Peregrinos" (pilgrims), on our own hike through life. If you let it, this book will have a positive impact on how your journey goes.

A great book to read about pursuing a passion and gaining insights about life and culture
Format: Hardcover
I enjoyed reading this book. The author, Gordon Bernhardt, writes his preparation and journey for a Camino Hike through Spain with vivid expressions and fun stories. He has such a good ability for story-telling that I feel like I was walking side by side with him. He also can draw incredible and unexpected insights from the hiking experience and apply them to the essential aspects of life and investing. Highly recommend reading this book.

There's so much more than walking packed into this book.
Format: Kindle
Investing is more my husband's purview, but I loved Gordon Bernhardt's tale of his walk and life stories, and that made reading the parts about investing actually enjoyable for me. The author's arduous journey on the Camino was fascinating and I couldn't wait for his next experience. He did an outstanding job of weaving together his walk, his investment philosophies, and the life lessons he learned along the way.
