Directed and choreographed by Olivier and Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Disney's Aladdin, Something Rotten!), Dreamgirls stars Amber Riley (Glee, The Wiz LIVE!) who is nominated for a Best Actress Olivier Award for her performance as Effie White. This brand new set was recorded live at the Savoy Theater and captures the on-stage exhilaration of the original London cast, the fourteen-piece orchestra and the audience. The album features the iconic songs from the musical including "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," "I Am Changing," "Listen" and "One Night Only." Dreamgirls transports you to a revolutionary time in American music history, charting the tumultuous journey of a young female singing trio from Chicago called The Dreams as they learn the hard lesson that show business is as tough as it is fabulous. With book and lyrics by Tom Eyen and music by Henry Krieger, the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls opened in 1981 and won six Tony Awards. In 2006, Dreamgirls was adapted into an Oscar-winning film starring Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx.

The Florida Factor: Comfort and Style
The leather is actual calfskin (on most models), which is a must for the Florida heat. Synthetic shoes turn into a sauna within ten minutes, but these breathe reasonably well. Step In Look Good

I am wearing these shoes as I write this review, and they look and feel great. I have a bit of a disability with drop foot on the right leg and bilateral neuropathy and have been wearing step in shoes for about 10 years. But the first company that introduced leather dress and casual shoes stopped making them and now only makes sport and casual shoes. So I have been searching for some that meet my need for shoes like this and this company has given me three pairs, so far. Easy to get into, comfortable to wear, and good looking. And they take polish very well, too. (Remember how to do that?). We may buy another pair or two in different styles as well.
