A leopard can't change it's spots and Magnus International earned his spots in the hue sequence of Oslo's disco scene. Disco is the single thread that runs through all electronic dance music. After an inconsistent hiatus from recording, the Norwegian DJ finally dons the producer cap for his debut album. Echo to Echo is the artist's magnum opus, taking on epic proportions in it's album-length narrative. Prins Thomas's Full Pupp family plays hosts to Magnus's infectious disco arrangements, as it has done since Magnus International and Danny Blackbelt Anderson first worked together as Kalle, Magnus & Daniel in the mid-2000s. Tracing a line from those early days through his first solo work (the 2006 Kosmetisk 12), Echo to Echo sees the producer combining the foundation of his sound with influences including Warp's early catalog, transposing it into the singular voice that is Magnus International. I wanted to go back to Techno from my Youth. Borrowing inspiration from the likes of LFO and Aphex Twin, Magnus spent two years in the studio refining a hybrid album in which disco is deeply ingrained, but which grows it's own spots with the acid-infected synth work and inventive beat-arrangements that were the signature trademarks of those early pioneers. Titles like Big Red and Echo to Echo are clear nods to these demi-gods of music, which Magnus International makes his own in the context of a disco long-player. It's an album built on the foundation of Magnus's strengths as an experienced producer, innovator, and DJ. Forged in the cauldron of techno's rich history, with Magnus's distinct style playing host, Echo to Echo takes the listener on journey that transcends time. If I can hop into my Delorean and punch in a destination, five years from now, I want my music to have the same effect. Magnus International didn't change his spots for his debut; he merely grew into them, and Echo to Echo sees them at their most impressive.

Great For Dry Hair
I've never tried Batana Oil before, so I had no idea what to expect. It's a great oil for my hair. I love that it is all-natural oil and is more like a paste. It spreads easily on my hair. I love that I can put a tiny bit on my finger and rub it directly into my dry scalp.
The oil has an interesting but pleasant smell. It's hard to describe. It reminds me a bit of a cross between coffee and cacao, but more nutty and mild. I like it. It's not too strong.
The directions say to apply and leave in for 20 minutes, then wash out with a sulfate-free shampoo. I like to leave it in my hair for a day or two before washing it again. It's a great conditioning oil for dry and damaged hair. It might feel heavy on fine or thin hair, but I like it on my medium-thick hair.
The only reason I dropped this a star is that I'm dubious of the claim that it promotes hair growth. I think it helps my dry hair from breaking off, but I don't think it can do much for most hair loss. However, for hair conditioning, this is definitely a five star product.

No improvement
Size: 4.2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
It's not showing no improvement or no change. It's been one month and no improvement to my hair... Just a waste of money... Very disappointed ☹️☹️

Single-ingredient moisturizing treatment with a pleasant smell
When this is described as "batana oil," that's exactly what it is. Not a dozen other ingredients with just a little bit of batana, no colors or fragrances, just batana oil. I love that about this. It's easy to use, just melt it into you hands and massage it into your scalp and hair. Folks with long hair would do well to concentrate on the ends since that's where you're less likely to get natural oil from your scalp to help keep the hair healthy. Leave it in for a bit, then wash it off in the shower with shampoo. Not at all complicated. I loved how my scalp felt afterward, definitely less itchy and "tight." as far as regrowing any hair or anything, I think the only thing that would help me is a miracle, so I'm not basing my review on that. The smell is nutty and very nice. Similar to the roasty notes of coffee or chocolate. Very pleasant and not "chemical" or perfumey smelling.

Nice Scent but Too Early to See Results
I’ve just started using this batana oil, so it’s too early to say if it actually helps with hair growth or thickness. I’ll need to use it consistently for a while before seeing real results.
So far, I do like the smell—it has a nice scent and doesn’t feel overwhelming. The oil itself feels nourishing and easy to apply to the scalp and hair.
The size is decent for the price, but like most hair treatments, the effectiveness will really depend on long-term use.
Pros:
Pleasant scent
Feels nourishing on hair and scalp
Easy to apply
Cons:
Too early to tell results
Overall, it seems promising, but you’ll need to give it time to see if it actually delivers on the hair growth claims.
