Shure PGADRUMKIT5 Drum Microphone Kit

The Shure PGADRUMKIT5 Drum Microphone Kit is a complete, professional-grade solution designed to capture the punch, depth, and articulation of your drum kit with clarity and precision. Built for both studio tracking and live performances, this kit combines one PGA52 cardioid Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone with three PGA56 cardioid Dynamic mics, delivering focused, high-quality sound for kick, snare, and toms. Whether you’re refining your online drum tutorials, laying down a hard-hitting rock track, or delivering a tight live mix for an audience, the PGADRUMKIT5 provides consistent results across environments. The kit emphasizes gain stability, reduced bleed, and robust construction, so you can rely on it session after session, gig after gig. With Shure’s renowned build quality and microphone design, you’ll experience a dependable, professional sound that translates well on monitors, house systems, and recordings alike, without extensive outboard processing.

  • Comprehensive close-miking kit for kick, snare, and toms: Includes 1 PGA52 kick drum mic and 3 PGA56 cardioid dynamic mics, enabling complete, tight close-miking coverage for the most important drum elements—kick, snare, and toms—without needing additional mics for basic drum capture.
  • Professional cardioid dynamic design for focused sound: The PGA52 and PGA56 mics are cardioid dynamic condensers built to handle high sound pressure levels with minimal bleed, giving you clean separation between drums and reducing spill from cymbals and adjacent drums.
  • Ideal for both live and studio use: This drum microphone kit excels in environments where reliable performance matters—from bustling stage setups to precise, quiet studio sessions—thanks to rugged construction and consistent tonal response across venues and rooms.
  • Punchy kick and crisp top end with controlled low-end: The kick mic captures deep, authoritative low frequencies while preserving attack, and the snare and tom mics contribute articulate transients and crisp detail, allowing you to sculpt a balanced drum mix with minimal EQ adjustments.
  • Versatile, easy-to integrate solution: Designed to work with standard XLR connections and typical audio interfaces, mixers, and PA systems, the PGADRUMKIT5 fits into most signal chains with straightforward setup, enabling you to focus on performance rather than gear configuration.

how to install Shure PGADRUMKIT5

  • Plan your mic placement: Position the PGA52 kick mic in front of the kick drum, typically aiming at the point where the beater strikes for a strong, punchy low end. Adjust height and distance to balance the kick’s depth with the room’s natural resonance.
  • Place the PGA56 mics on snare and toms: Place the PGA56 mics close to the snare and toms, angling slightly toward the drum surface to capture crisp transients and minimize bleed from cymbals. For toms, consider a slightly higher position to capture body and attack without overpowering the kick.
  • Connect to your mixer or interface: Run standard XLR cables from each mic to your audio interface, mixer, or drum module. Ensure each channel is assigned correctly and labeled in your session to simplify gain staging.
  • Set gain and basic levels: Start with conservative gain settings and gradually increase while monitoring for distortion. Since these are dynamic mics designed for high SPL, you can typically achieve strong levels without excessive preamp gain, preserving headroom for loud hits.
  • Apply basic processing: On the kick channel, consider light compression to tighten dynamics and a subtle high-pass filter to reduce potential rumble. For snare and toms, a touch of EQ to emphasize attack and body can help them sit clearly in the mix without competing with cymbals.
  • Test and adjust: Play a range of drum hits—kick, snare, and toms—to check balance across the kit. Move mics if needed to improve isolation or to chase specific tonal goals, and fine-tune your monitoring and foldback so the drummer can hear an accurate representation of the mix.
  • Cable management and protection: Route cables neatly to avoid tripping hazards and minimize mic movement during performances. Use appropriate stands and clips suitable for your venue or studio setup.

Ranked and reviewed by flavor
Flavor Name: Variety Pack 2, Size: 16.5 fl oz (Pack of 4)
Not using these syrups in coffee or drinks, just on muffins, breadsticks and ice cream. Here are the individual reviews from best to worst: -Caramel: almost perfect creamy pure caramel taste. Only flaw is I wish it were thicker. 9/10. -Dark Chocolate: has that classic slightly bittersweet dark countenance. You can almost taste a pleasant burnt cocoa bean flavor. Only flaw is that it is a bit too thick. 8/10. -Chocolate Caramel: not a perfect 50/50 blend, tastes more like a 70/30 blend in favor of caramel. Consistency is perfect, just the right thickness. 7/10. -White Chocolate: doesn't taste like WC whatsoever. It tastes like sickly sweet birthday cake icing in liquid form. Worst of all it is runny with no thcikness. 4/10.

I love it!
Color: Black, Size: Rechargeable
This thing works great! It holds a charge for a long time. I love that it has different attachments. I use it mainly for mixing powder into my drinks. It is very powerful. The speed is adjustable too. It feels good to hold too. It lights up when you squeeze the trigger and when it starts losing charge, the light bar gets shorter. I highly recommend it.

Perfect all-around frother, stand keeps it nice and neat on the counter within easy reach.
Color: Black, Size: Rechargeable
Rechargeable, lightweight, variable speeds and optional whisks all make this the perfect item for your kitchen. You can quickly froth milk for your coffees, whip a small batch of whip cream, and even make mug cakes with the hook attachment. The price is very compatible with the competitors, but the ease of use makes this a top choice. The variable speeds makes it much better to control than the push button ones. When you let go of the pressure switch it turns off, no need for a dedicated on-off switch. Having the pressure switch on the top makes it extremely easy to use! It fits very comfortably in the hand and with the metal stand, looks quite nice on the counter, ready to use at any time. I highly recommend this InstaWhisk!

Great product from a great company
Color: Black, Size: Rechargeable
This product works very well. There are several other whips to use also. I absolutely love the cream it makes and that is important so I can enjoy my morning coffee. I used this whisk for quite a while then all of a sudden it stopped working. I wrote to the company to explain. A few days later they sent me a beans new whisk. GREAT item and great company to work with.

Great Frother - almost too powerful
Color: Black, Size: Rechargeable
I’ve been using the Tyohur InstaWhisk milk frother for a while now, and overall I really like it—but I wouldn’t quite give it 5 stars, and honestly it’s because it might be a little too powerful for its own good. First, the positives: this frother does an amazing job. The single-button control is super easy to use, and I love that you can adjust the speed just by how much pressure you apply. It feels very intuitive, and you can really dial in the exact texture you want. Whether I’m making a latte or mixing something thicker like a protein drink, it handles everything smoothly. The performance is seriously impressive. On the lower speeds, it creates nice, silky foam, and when you turn it up, it’s incredibly fast—like café-quality foam in seconds. High-speed frothers like this are designed to create rich foam very quickly, and this one definitely delivers on that promise That said, the power is also what knocks it down a star for me. If you’re not careful (especially when using higher speeds), it can splash pretty easily. The product description says it’s designed to prevent mess with stable low-RPM operation, and that’s true if you stay on the lower settings—but once you ramp it up, you really need to keep the whisk fully submerged or start slow, or it can send milk flying out of the container
