BORLA's CrateMuffler is the world's first muffler purpose-built to optimize the sound & power of crate and custom built motors. The mufflers are directional. The outlet can be identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. The directional design provides custom sound, tuned for each engine family and will dramatically reduce, or eliminate drone on specified applications. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Precision computer-controlled CNC manufacturing ensures an accurate fit and best of all, BORLA stands behind every CrateMuffler with a Million-Mile Warranty. The pieces are not labeled at all, the paint on the threads makes it difficult to get a good tight fit between the pieces, and the way the pipes are screwed together there are two opposing corners that always bow in an make it look like it's going to fall in. It's also really difficult to make level. I really wanted to like this because it fit EXACTLY what I wanted to use it for, but I just can't trust it long term which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.

The instructions were easy enough to read but I still found a couple of parts I didn't use and wondered what they were for? The parts do come numbered but only on the packaging? Not on the part itself which would have been more helpful to some extent. So just keep it all together with it's packaging and you'll have no problems. Very happy with purchase.
