Designed for electric guitar players, the Blackstar Studio 10 EL34 is a combo amplifier pushing 10W RMS of power through its 1x12" Celestion loudspeaker.Moreover, it boasts a rich tube tone. You'll find an ECC83 tube in the preamp stage, but the power stage gives you an EL34 tube for an authentic British tone. The result is a classic warm, crunchy tone associated with classic English amplifiers, one suitable for home practice, studio recording, and small venues.
The amp offers preamp volume, tone, reverb, and master volume controls, as well as a selectable Boost channel that kicks the amp into higher gear. Use for a lead tone or to create a more robust, harmonically distorted timbre. Connect the provided FS-4S footswitch into the back of the amp to turn the Boost channel on with the tap of your toe.
The combo amp provides three 1/4" speaker outputs and an effects loop, one that accommodates both consumer-level and studio-level gear. An emulated output is taken right after the power stage, and models the sound of a cabinet to give you a realistic tone for DI'ing or monitoring your amplifier.
EL34 power tube yields classic British crunch
This combo amp packs an EL34 power tube. EL34s feature a pentode design and are at the epicenter of what's referred to as the "British" amplifier sound. The EL34 is known for its strong mids and aggressive character and infuses the amp with truckloads of warm British crunch. Thanks to its EL34 power tube, this combo amp delivers a wide range of warm, crunchy tones, all pumped through a Celestion Seventy 80 speaker for defined, controlled lows and punchy, aggressive mids.
Loaded with player-friendly additions
The level of tone packed inside is impressive for a small 10-watt amp. And it's loaded with features that are sure to add excitement to your recording sessions. Its speaker-emulated output is taken after its Class A power stage, so you'll inject your projects with EL34 power tube tone, along with the dimensional sound of a miked-up cab. Integrating this amp with your pedalboard and other effects is a piece of cake thanks to its effects loop. You also get three external speaker outputs for adding an extension cab. Beyond that, it features a built-in reverb that provides lush ambience without washing out your playing.

Best option for Sim Racing Ambient Lighting

I picked up these Light Bars from Govee specifically for my sim racing setup to be used for ambient lighting, and they’ve exceeded expectations.
The RGBIC technology is the standout feature. Being able to display multiple colors on each bar at the same time makes the lighting effects far more dynamic than standard RGB strips. During races, the lighting reacts smoothly to telemetry data—RPM, flags, rev limiter, and speed shifts all translate into immersive ambient effects that genuinely add to the experience.
Setup was straightforward, but the real highlight was the seamless SimHub integration. Configuration was quick, and the light bars responded immediately once connected. No complicated workarounds, no lag—just clean, real-time feedback. If you're already using SimHub for dashboards or bass shakers, these integrate perfectly into that ecosystem.
Brightness is more than enough for ambient lighting without being distracting, and the diffusion along the 31-inch bars keeps everything looking clean and professional—no visible LED hotspots. The WiFi connectivity has been stable, and the app gives you plenty of customization options outside of racing as well.
For anyone building a sim rig and wanting that extra layer of immersion, these are absolutely worth it.

GREAT way to view TV
On initial set up and use of just few days I love this little light bar
I'm 74 and I set this up in less than 10 min. Playing with Govee App took about same time for basic functions.
The backlighting is great and now my room is lighted during night when I sleepwalk to bathroom.
I'll decide later if I want to use adhesive pads. Currently it just sits on TV stand behind TV.
All in all it's great! I would definitely buy again and highly recommend.
Colors in photos are actually less bright in my room. The Govee App allows many many color variations. Just set up and create color palate for favorite colors and patterns. Eezee Peezee

Outstanding TV backlight edition

This is an excellent addition to a TV backlight. If you go into the GOVEE app you can sync this device to a TV backlight with a camera. You can add up to five lights.
I recommend this for either a TV backlight or general ambience in the room at night.
UPDATE 2025: I actually have 4 of these.
3 of them I synced with the TV strip light/camera using the GOVEE app for TV watching.
The 4th one I use is on ambience lamp.
These are made very durable/easy to set up. These things are not cheaply made

Look nice and were an easy setup.

Simple and do what they are supposed to do. I use them to add a bit of flare to my desktop setup for online meetings, etc. If I had to nitpick, I'd say cabling is always interesting to route to reduce desk clutter, but I am not going to remove a star for what pretty much has to be. They look nice too.
