Designed exclusively for Surface Pro, the Kensington BlackBelt Rugged Case with Integrated Smart Card Reader (CAC) for Surface Pro 8 delivers unmatched protection, security, and reliability for professionals who demand peak performance in the toughest environments. This case combines rugged, military-grade protection with a built-in smart card reader, enabling secure authentication and network access without compromising the sleek form factor of your Surface Pro 8. Whether you’re on a job site, in a high-traffic office, or traveling between meetings, this enclosure is engineered to shield your device, safeguard your data, and streamline your workflow.

  • Integrated Smart Card Reader (CAC) for secure authentication and network access without removing the device from the case. This enables quick CAC-enabled logins to Windows, VPNs, and corporate resources, helping you stay compliant with government and enterprise security requirements while maintaining mobility.
  • Military-grade drop protection and rugged construction guard Surface Pro 8 from shocks, impacts, and daily wear. Reinforced corners, shock-absorbing materials, and a solid shell work together to absorb and redirect energy away from critical components, extending device life in demanding environments.
  • Wipe-down friendly exterior and rugged, textured finish designed to resist dust, grime, and spills in field and office settings. The surface is easy to clean after rough-handed use, while maintaining a grip that reduces the risk of drops during transport or in the field.
  • TAA-compliant solution suitable for government and enterprise deployments with lockable, enclosure-grade materials. This makes it a trusted choice for procurement processes and teams that require traceable, compliant equipment for sensitive operations.
  • Precise fit with full access to all ports, keyboard, kickstand, and docking connections while maintaining a slim profile. The design preserves the Surface Pro 8’s usability, ensuring you can attach accessories, charge, and connect peripherals without removing the case.

The BlackBelt Rugged Case is more than a protective shell; it’s a security-and-productivity enabler. The integrated CAC reader supports a range of authentication workflows, allowing secure logins, encrypted communications, and controlled access to sensitive networks without the need for external readers or adapters. In addition to security, the case is engineered for dependable operation in harsh environments—dust, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and accidental drops are all mitigated by the case’s robust construction and careful material selection. Surface Pro 8 users benefit from a combination of rugged protection and professional-grade features, including a secure hold that reduces wobble during travel and a design that keeps the device’s profile slim enough to fit in standard bags and workstations. This balance of durability and practicality makes the BlackBelt Rugged Case an attractive option for field engineers, government contractors, healthcare professionals, and IT teams who require reliable device protection without sacrificing performance.

Durability is paired with user-friendly engineering. The integrated reader is positioned for comfortable use, and the exterior withstands repeated cleanings without discoloration or wear. The case’s surface texture provides confident grip in gloves or damp conditions, while the precise cutouts ensure quick access to all connectors, speakers, and sensors. With the Surface Pro 8 still fully operable inside its protective shell, users don’t have to compromise between security and productivity. For teams that deploy in multi-location or mobile scenarios, the BlackBelt Rugged Case helps simplify asset management and security posture by consolidating protective, authentication, and accessory considerations into a single, purpose-built solution.

Functional cheap enough
As described, a tad overpriced, length is good, the end crimps very easily so it doesn't last long, does get warm when you touch it after a long time plugged in, it's functional, we bought several of the same in the past they've all had the same story functional get a little warm the middle part on hooks easily, which does make it hard when you're trying to charge something

Crisp, bright, natural colors. Excellent monitor for the cost.
Size: 24 inch 100Hz
Excellent monitor. Haven't tried the internal speakers since I use amplified speakers and most often a headset through them. So probably an option I may never use anyway, but may test them out just to see how good they are...or how bad.😂 Color is crisp and clear and gave me the screen resolution I needed 1920x1080. Text is clear and legible, graphics are as good as your graphics card will allow, so if you're not using a high end graphics card don't expect this monitor to improve motherboard built-in graphics or older low end graphic cards, that's not the monitors fault, it's your MB or GC that's the problem. Overall I'm very happy with this monitor and been well worth the price I paid for. Yes, I'd recommend this monitor.
