The system operates on a rechargeable battery with a 278mL self-contained water reservoir, making it suitable for use in exam rooms, mobile clinics, or any setting where plumbed water access is limited. Three electronic pressure-control settings allow clinicians to adjust irrigation intensity based on patient comfort and cerumen type. At the high setting, the flow rate is 4.1 mL/s, delivering approximately 123mL in 30 seconds.
OtoClear Tips direct the irrigation stream toward the posterior canal wall rather than directly at the tympanic membrane, a design feature aligned with standard ear irrigation safety protocols. The system is compatible with adapter wands for precise tip positioning in varied canal anatomies.
Available in two kit configurations, the OtoClear Ear Lavage System is covered under ADCO Medical Suppliers' active DAPA, FSS, and MSPV contracts, making it directly accessible to VA facilities, DoD clinics, and MSPV-participating health systems through established federal procurement channels.
