Should the Tyranids be faced with an especially formidable target, the Hive Mind may unleash what Imperial Strategos have termed a Crusher Stampede. The cores of these swarms comprise hulking monsters, led by some of the most physically imposing synapse beasts to emerge from the bowels of the hive ships. Supported by hulking walking tanks like the Tyrannofex or Exocrine, Crusher Stampedes smash through everything in their paths.

This packed boxed set is ideal for starting a new Tyranids collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. Led by a Neurotyrant and its accompanying Neuroloids, the rest of the force is filled with heavy-hitting beasts. You'll find a Screamer-Killer, Tyrannofex, Haruspex, and Maleceptor – enough to strike fear into any foe you might face. Each of these creatures is powerful in its own right, capable of dishing out damage as well as soaking up firepower. When combined, they are a mighty army that will give your opponents a challenge as they try to work out how to take them down.

This boxed set builds 7 multipart plastic Tyranid miniatures:
1x Neurotyrant, with 2x Neuroloids
1x Screamer-Killer
1x Tyrannofex (which can alternatively be built as a Tervigon)
1x Haruspex (which can alternatively be built as an Exocrine)
1x Maleceptor (which can alternatively be built as a Toxicrene)

Some of the beasts in this kit have build options. The Tyrannofex can be armed with the vehicle-busting rupture cannon, armour-melting acid spray, or the horde-destroying fleshborer hive. It can alternatively be built as a Termagant-spawning Tervigon, which can be armed with your choice of crushing claws or scything talons.

The infinitely hungry Haruspex can alternatively be built as the bio-plasmic cannon-toting Exocrine.

The psychic powerhouse Maleceptor can instead be built as an infantry poisoning Toxicrene. Either can be assembled in a crouch or attack position, with a Space Marine Terminator crushed beneath their claw.

This set comprises 212 plastic components, 1x Citadel 90mm Round Hex Hole Base, 1x Citadel 50mm Round Hex Hole Base, 2x Citadel 25mm Round Hex Hole Bases, and 3x Citadel 120mm Oval Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.

Lightweight and Comfortable, but very thin
Color: Black, Size: Large
I used the Lapulas Merino Wool Quarter Socks for Men on a Europe trip where I was walking pretty much all day, and overall they performed well. The biggest thing to know right away is that they are very thin. If you’re expecting thick, cushioned socks, these are not that. They feel more like a lightweight layer rather than something padded. That said, the thinness actually worked in my favor for travel. Even after long days of walking, my feet didn’t feel overly sweaty or damp. They seem to handle moisture pretty well, and I didn’t get that uncomfortable “wet sock” feeling, which is a big plus when you’re constantly on the move. They’re also surprisingly decent at regulating temperature. They’re not thick, but they still help keep your feet warm when it’s a bit cold, while staying breathable enough during the day. It’s more of a balanced, all-day comfort rather than heavy insulation. One thing I noticed is that they stretch out a bit after the first use. They’re snug at first, but after wearing them for a day, they loosen slightly. It’s not terrible, but it’s noticeable, especially since they’re already thin. Also, proper care really matters with these. Since they’re merino wool and lightweight, I’d recommend being careful with washing and drying—gentle wash and air drying is probably the best way to maintain the shape and quality. Throwing them in a regular hot wash/dry cycle will likely wear them out faster or affect the fit. Because they’re thin, they fit nicely inside shoes without feeling tight or bulky, which I appreciated when wearing sneakers for long periods. Pros: -Lightweight and comfortable for all-day walking -Good moisture control, feet don’t feel damp -Breathable and not too hot -Helps keep feet warm despite being thin -Easy to pack for travel Cons: -Very thin, not much cushioning -Slightly loosens after first use -Requires careful washing and drying

Too stretchy for my preference
Color: Black, Size: Large
The socks seem to be high quality, but they are too stretchy for my liking. They feel like "compression" socks, and become too thin and stretched when worn (yes I bought the correct size). Even though they have less Spandex than my preferred wool socks (e which are no longer available), they are much stretchier.

Thick and comfortable
Color: Black, Size: Medium
These socks fit 7.5 wide size woman's shoe wearer perfectly. Socks are thick and comfy. They stay in place all day. I got rid of all my old socks and it is a pleasure not having to scrounge for a matching pair. They wash and dry well in machine on wool setting.

Very pleased!
Color: Black, Size: Medium
Good fit, good thickness, keeps feet warm and dry, no uncomfortable seams. I've only washed them twice, but will return if items don't hold up. So far they're proving to be a good investment.

Garbage socks.
Color: White, Size: Medium
After wearing a couple times there is a hole in the heel. I think they're made of tissue paper;
