Prurient announces Rainbow Mirror as a seven-LP box set here on Hospital Productions, to coincide with 20th anniversary of the project. Rainbow Mirror is a release exceeding three hours in length, consisting of new material that delves into the glacial, meditative, and ambient side of Prurient creating an epic of pure "Doom Electronics". Rainbow Mirror, which coincides with the 20 year anniversary of Prurient, a project that is steeped in history and origins. The cover art for Rainbow Mirror is the first collage created in the pre-recording era of Prurient. Like the first Prurient live performance 20 years earlier, the Rainbow Mirror lineup consists of three members. For this exhausting work, Dominick Fernow called upon Matt Folden (Dual Action) and Jim Mroz (Lussuria) to form the trio. All of the material was recorded live at Hospital Productions and later meticulously mixed and produced by Shifted in Berlin. Rainbow Mirror stands as another singular work amongst the vast repertoire that Fernow has amassed under the Prurient moniker. While familiar moments from the Frozen Niagara Falls (2015) album can be found within the massive scope of Rainbow Mirror, through the three-plus hour duration of this rural ambient industrial creation, Rainbow Mirror proves to be a monolithic, crawling psychological noisescape of time-stretching electronics, layered counterpoint feedback, machine loops, and maximalist pulsating synth passages. Like the infinite and distorted reflections produced by a hall of mirrors, Rainbow Mirror is a portrait in perpetual tension. Track listing for Rainbow Mirror, which will also include a short story of the same name written by Scott Bryan Wilson and Fernow in the spirit of violent dreams. Expert mastering by Paul Corley. I Smell Like a Gentleman Who Owns a Fireplace
Scent: Bourbon Oak, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The fragrance is warm, woody, and slightly sweet...that low amber note that smells expensive without trying to smell expensive, which, as we all know, is the actual expensive smell. My wife walked past me twenty minutes post-shower and said, unprompted, "You smell really good." I nodded like I had planned this.
The lather is genuinely rich; squeeze a modest amount and it blooms into a thick, creamy foam that covers everything efficiently. The texture is silky rather than watery, which matters more than people admit. Watery body washes feel like rinsing off with slightly scented regret. This one feels intentional. It cleans, and your skin actually feels clean afterward, not just rinsed. And the moisturizing? I wasn't expecting it. No greasy film, no lotion-begging dry patches by midday. Just quietly softer skin that doesn't make a big announcement about it.
Now, my honest gripe: the scent longevity has a ceiling. By mid-afternoon you're back to neutral. That's the gap between four stars and five for me. For daily freshness and an incredible morning window of smelling genuinely great, it absolutely delivers...but it won't carry you to bedtime.
On value: 16 fl oz is decent, the lather is efficient so the bottle lasts, and the price sits in that sweet spot where you feel like someone who makes slightly elevated but still reasonable choices, which is exactly the vibe this entire product is going for.

Lathers great for a small amount! A fair price for the amount and rich content. I just bought, used and love it. Definitely will purchase again. I love the sophisticated yet sensible smell doesn't overpower. In my perception it is a unisex scent as I am a woman and bought for myself.

Smells Like You Have Your Life Together

Cremo Body Wash with Italian Bergamot, Neroli Blossom, and Fresh Vetiver smells far more expensive than it has any right to. The scent hits that sweet spot between fresh and refined. The bergamot gives it a clean citrus lift, the neroli adds a smooth floral edge, and the vetiver grounds it with a subtle, masculine depth that does not scream but absolutely speaks.
The lather is rich and concentrated, so you only need a small amount. It feels more like something you would find in a boutique hotel than on a regular store shelf. The fragrance lingers just enough to be noticed without overpowering your cologne or filling the entire room.
