I saw this old grove of gnarly trees up on the hillside and thought they would make a great foreground. Several mornings in a row, we hiked up this steep hillside before sunrise. After four mornings, we finally got the beautiful sunrise light we were after. It was an incredible morning, and I thinks it sums up the “wild” feeling of Glacier National Park perfectly.
