This is Jasmine's second volume of Bo's recordings following on from the successful "I'm A Man" (JASMCD3010). Volume one featured the A & B side of every single he released up until 1959 and Volume two begins in the same year and features the A & B side of the rest of his singles up to the end of 1962. Just like the classics on that first volume many of these tracks were covered globally by beat groups during the later 1960s. "Pills" was covered by the New York Dolls, The Lurkers and The UK Subs. "Road Runner" by The Animals, The Who, Aerosmith, Wayne Fontana and The Zombies. "Cadillac" by The Kinks and The Downliners Sect. "You Can't Judge A Book by the Cover" by Dion, The Merseybeats and Cactus. "I Can Tell" by Johnny Kidd & The Pirates, The Searchers, Bern Elliot & The Fenmen, John Hammond, Van Morrison, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and The Blues Band. Bonus tracks come from two of his classic albums. "Bo Diddley Is A Gunslinger" which was released in 1960 and is featured in it's entirety. The remaining five titles come from the album "Bo Diddley Is A Lover" released in 1961

A Timeless Classic That Nourishes the Mind!
Format: Board book
Where to even begin with Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"? This book has been a cornerstone of childhood for countless kids—and with good reason!
First and foremost, the visual elements are stunning. Eric Carle’s unique collage technique brings the story to life in a way that instantly captures the attention of both young and older readers. His choice of bold, vibrant colors is just like eye-candy for the young ones.
The tale itself is simple yet profound. A caterpillar eats its way through various foods, both healthy and not-so-healthy, growing bigger and ultimately transforming into a butterfly. On one level, it’s a delightful story about change and growth; on another, it subtly teaches children about the days of the week, counting, and nutrition.
I appreciate how the book incorporates little "holes" in the pages to indicate where the caterpillar has munched through, adding a tactile element to the reading experience. My 5-year-old loves poking her fingers through the holes, making the story not just a visual but also a sensory delight!

A classic must have

I bought this book for a baby shower as it was one of my kids favorite books. It is absolutely the cutest book, and will be a great addition to anyone's library. Quality book, great pictures and story. Value for the book and story is hard to beat!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is such a sweet, beautifully illustrated book. The simple story, bright colors, and fun cut-out pages keep little ones completely engaged. It’s perfect for teaching counting, days of the week, and healthy eating in a way that feels playful and memorable.
