Philippe Nigro's Phileas seating, designed for Ligne Roset, both challenges and surprises: he has managed the impressive feat of achieving cutting edge modernity, imbuing his creation with real personality and a strong visual identity close to the 'never-before-seen', whilst at the same time awakening a cluster of nostalgic reminiscences which anchor it in reassuring historical continuity, like a real multifaceted Proust madeleine. Its vertical quilting recalls the upholstery of 1950s automobile seats, banquettes from the mythical Orient Express, the hushed surroundings of English gentlemen's clubs, the novels of Agatha Christie and Jules Verne, the balloons of the Montgolfier brothers...inviting one on a real motionless journey through time. Construction Structure in mechanically-soldered steel and panels of particleboard, clad in 200g/m2 polyester quilting. Base in Epoxy satin black or satin bronze lacquered steel, or in solid walnut with tubular steel reinforcing core. Comfort Suspension of seat via elastic webbing. Integral seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 38 kg / m3 - 3.6 kPa; back in Bultex foam 26 kg/m3 - 1.4 kPa. Making-up Cover quilted with ultra-flexible polyurethane foam 30 kg/m3 - 1.8 kPa and 100 /m2 polyester quilting. Twin-needle stitching on top section of backrest. Invisible zips set into back. Comfy soft pillow covers

Absolutely love these pillow cases! I bought 2 sets. After I received them & washed & dried them they did remain wrinkly. I just went ahead and put them on my pillows & the wrinkles went away. I continue to love the feel, coolness & comfort. Will definitely buy more.

These Bamboo Pillowcases Made Me Realize I Sleep Hot

I bought these mostly because I kept hearing people talk about bamboo pillowcases and honestly thought it sounded a little overhyped, but I totally get it now. The first thing I noticed was how cool they felt compared to regular cotton. I tend to get warm when I sleep and flip my pillow a million times during the night looking for the cold side, and these actually stay noticeably cooler longer.
They also feel really soft without having that weird slippery texture some silky pillowcases have. My skin has been less irritated lately and my hair definitely looks less frizzy in the mornings. I have thick hair that tangles easily overnight, and these have helped more than I expected.
Another thing I appreciate is that they’ve washed well so far. I was worried they’d pill or lose softness after a wash cycle, but they still feel smooth and nice. They also just make the bed feel cleaner and more comfortable overall. One of those small upgrades that ends up making a bigger difference than you’d think.
