Lumens: 1620 lumens
Throw: 240 metres
Length: 154 mm
Beam Type: Aspheric – spot adjustable to flood

The aspheric lens of the Defender III Pro Ultra provides you with an amazing 240 metre throw and the ability to shift between spot beam or flood beam (though not both at the same time). The Procap offers you perfect control over the beam, moving between levels before or after being turned on.

The Defender 111 Pro Ultra is perfect for any user that needs a bit of distance from a torch: professions such as engineers and pest control find the focusable output indispensable when going about their daily duties.

Light Output and Beam Pattern
The Defender III Pro Ultra LED Torch provides a spot beam out to 240 metres which can be adjusted back to a flood beam. An aspheric provides a tight spot with no surrounding flood, or can move back to all flood. The Procap gives you control of the beam, being able to select one of the six levels before turning on (or after). The levels are high beam, medium, medium/low, low, emergency strobe and disorientating strobe.

Procap
The Procap is a conventional button in the centre but has a magnetic ring around the outside to change levels. This can be used to change the level of the torch when it is on or before it is turned on. Very useful for say selecting low before turning on so as not to lose night vision.

TTT and Construction
The Defender III Pro LED Torch is constructed with the same TTT Thermal Transfer Tube as used in many other Wolf Eyes LED flashlights, which is a brass tube designed to wick away the heat from the LED, as heat can permanently damage an LED for life. The brass TTT is covered by a an aircraft aluminium body which is low temperature (-20o C) Hard Anodised.

Regulation
Regulation means your Defender III Pro Ultra doesn’t dim as the battery flattens. As batteries naturally reduce in voltage as they flatten, the regulation unit increases the amperage so the same amount of current is getting to the LED, thereby stopping it from dimming.

Rechargeable Batteries
Like most Wolf Eyes Headlamps and Torches the Defender III Pro utilises the familiar Wolf Eyes 18650 profile, this time in HDB168 lithium ion battery which has good power but also a slim profile. This is a protected battery, meaning it controls charging, discharging and over discharging for your protection.

Cold Weather
The Defender III Pro Ultra LED Torch works from -20o C to + 60o C

Australian Approved Charger
Your Wolf Eyes LED torch is supplied with an Australian Approved Charger, meaning firstly, it is safe for you, and secondly, all your insurances apply such as Workers Comp, Building, etc.

Support
Your Defender III Pro Ultra is supported by a range of spares within Australia and also the 1300 911 007 number is available for questions and queries, with a 24 hour answering service to log after hours calls.

Don't buy, check HIS github or google collab for EVERYTHING that's in this book. NO SOLUTION
Format: Paperback
I never write reviews, but after this book I need to. DON'T BUY IT. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. Feels like a money grab. You are literally paying money for NOTHING buying this book. Long story short: GO TO HIS GITHUB AND GET IT ALL FOR FREE BECAUSE HE DOES NOT PROVIDE SOLUTIONS. GO ON GITHUB OR GOOGLE COLLAB AND CALL IT A DAY. In the intro he makes it seem like you don't need to know much programming or any tbh. He says if you have never programmed you should be able to read this book. HELL NO, I mean yeah you could probably figure it out, but I would not let someone that doesn't know any programming to start with this. I'd probably tell you to learn the basics of python for a week before starting at the very least. He also makes it seem like you don't need much knowledge of physics. Meh, maybe. Anyway the main reason not to buy: IT'S ALL AVAILABLE FOR FREE ON GITHUB THAT HE PUBLISHES FOR FREEEEEE. You can also use google collab, which he has up for FREEE. and if you are are a beginner I'd recommend you go off teh google collab, that way you don't have to deal with downloading anaconda and setting up an enviroment in jupyter which I think can be intimidating for a beginner. And this book doesn't really give much help in setting up everything in jupyter notebook. Also another point. He'll lead you through an example each lesson, but for the exercises he has you working on he doesn't provide a solution ANYWHERE. like why tf would you buy this book? How do you expect to learn with no feedback? You need to search online for ways to solve these problems, which I think is not a bad skill to have, but if you are new to a subject or trying to learn and you pay for a book why can't i at the very least get some solutions. even math textbook give you solutions, because the understanding is that you can make your own attempt and CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE RIGHT. DUHH !
