NEW DOUBLE LP

New sealed copy. Black vinyl edition.

Surfilmusic is a documentary exploring Jack Johnson’s path from surfer and surf filmmaker to internationally successful musician. Directed by Emmett Malloy, the film examines how Johnson’s early years making surf films with friends shaped both his creative outlook and later songwriting.

Built around archival footage, home videos, and present day interviews, the documentary connects Johnson’s surfing background with the themes and atmosphere that would later define his music. It also highlights the close community around those early surf films, featuring appearances from Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Gerry Lopez, Ben Harper, G. Love, John Florence, and others. The film includes an original score by Jack Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez, and is dedicated to the memory of surfer and actor Tamayo Perry.

Alongside the film, Johnson announced the release of the Surfilmusic soundtrack and companion double album 4-Track, both arriving May 15 through Brushfire Records. The soundtrack combines the film’s original score with remastered selections from Johnson’s early home recordings, offering a look back at the music and recordings that predated his debut album career.

Great value dress shoes with nice detailing
Size: 11, Color: Black, Size: 11, Color: Black
I bought these black dress shoes for an occasional formal wear, and overall I’m quite pleased with them for the price. Fit & Comfort: The size is accurate (true to size for me). They fit well right out of the box with no major break-in period needed. The pointed toe is a bit more tapered/narrow than I usually prefer, but it’s stylish and not uncomfortably tight. The main downside is the thin padding/insoles — they’re a little firm underfoot. However, this is an easy fix; I’ve already swapped them for better aftermarket insoles and the comfort improved significantly. Quality & Appearance: The quality is solid for the money. The faux leather has a nice shine, and the crocodile-embossed pattern on the toe cap and sides looks sharp and premium in person (see my photos). Stitching is clean, the sole has decent tread for a dress shoe, and they feel sturdy. No loose threads or cheap-feeling construction. They’ve held up well so far after several wears. Value: Excellent bang for the buck. They look much more expensive than they cost and are a solid choice if you’re looking for stylish dress shoes without spending a fortune. Would recommend, especially if you plan to add your own insoles. Perfect for office, weddings, or events where you want to look polished.
