The Black Box ServerSwitch KVM Switchbox is a security‑focused, high‑performance solution engineered for demanding data centers, government facilities, and sensitive environments where trusted server administration matters. Built to meet stringent TEMPEST and certification standards, this 4‑port VGA KVM switch with USB peripheral support enables administrators to manage multiple servers from a single console while preserving strict data separation and robust channel isolation. In today’s multi-domain IT landscape, reducing cross‑domain risk and enforcing rigorous access control are non‑negotiable. The ServerSwitch combines hardened hardware security with reliable, user‑friendly operation to deliver auditable, efficient server management without sacrificing performance. Whether you’re consolidating hardware to save space or enforcing red/black separation in secure workflows, this switchbox provides a hardened management pathway that organizations can trust daily.

  • Security‑certified architecture: This switchbox carries TEMPEST Level I (Level A) certification and EAL2+ / EAL4+ attestations, offering government‑grade assurance that the enclosure, shielding, and signal paths are designed to minimize information leakage and tampering risks in security‑conscious deployments. The combination of rigorous design controls and evaluation evidence helps meet regulatory requirements and supports compliant operations across multiple sectors.
  • Four‑port KVM with USB and VGA support: Efficiently manage up to four servers from a single console, enabling seamless switching between systems via a front panel and keyboard/mouse hotkeys. USB peripheral support means you can connect standard keyboards, mice, and USB devices, simplifying administration while preserving compatibility with existing server hardware and setups.
  • Card Reader Support: The inclusion of Card Reader Support enables strong, policy‑driven authentication workflows. Administrators can leverage smart cards or compatible credentials to validate access before proceeding with KVM console sessions, helping organizations enforce strict access control and improve compliance posture.
  • Red/Black data separation and robust isolation: Designed to maintain port‑to‑port electrical isolation, the ServerSwitch enforces clear data separation across networks and domains. This is crucial when managing servers in multi‑domain environments, ensuring that sensitive data flows remain isolated and that cross‑contamination risks are minimized during console access and maintenance tasks.
  • Exceptional channel isolation: With channel‑to‑channel isolation approaching 80 dB, the device minimizes crosstalk and electrical noise between ports. This high level of isolation preserves video and control signal integrity even in busy data centers with dense cabling and high I/O activity, delivering consistent, reliable administrator experience during critical maintenance windows.

How to install Black Box ServerSwitch KVM Switchbox

To deploy this secure KVM switchbox effectively, begin by selecting a secure, access‑controlled location in your data center or workstation area. Ensure the environment is free from excessive dust, moisture, and temperature fluctuations, and that the installation complies with your organization’s security policies. Mount the ServerSwitch in a rack or place it on a stable surface where it can be easily accessed by authorized personnel. Then proceed with cabling and configuration as follows:

  • Connect each target server to the four KVM ports using standard VGA video cables. Attach the corresponding USB console cables to enable keyboard and mouse control over the connected systems.
  • Attach a display to the VGA output so you can view each server’s desktop during administration and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Connect a keyboard and mouse to the USB console ports on the switchbox to ensure full control of the managed servers from the single console.
  • Power up the ServerSwitch and verify that the front‑panel indicators reflect power status and the active port. If applicable, enable any onboard management features or security modules in accordance with your policy.
  • Establish security‑related peripherals, such as a Card Reader, if your organization uses smart cards for authentication. Configure the card reader in line with your access control policies and connect it to the appropriate port or module as directed by the vendor documentation.
  • Test port switching by selecting each server port from the front panel or via supported hotkeys. Confirm that video display, keyboard, and mouse respond as expected for every connected server.
  • Validate RED/BLACK data separation by executing routine maintenance tasks across different servers and verifying that privileged domains are not inadvertently sharing data paths with less trusted domains.
  • Document the port mappings, user roles, and access controls in your change management system. Establish a backup and recovery procedure for the KVM setup, including a test plan to re‑verify isolation and authentication after any updates or maintenance windows.
  • Perform periodic security reviews and re‑certifications as required by your regulatory obligations. Maintain logs of console access, port activations, and authentication events to support audits and incident response planning.

Amazing!
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. I have zero complaints about this book. Let me start by saying that the world building was phenomenal. I could picture everything in my head because of how detailed it was — that’s how good it was written. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

High on Tropes and Satisfaction
Format: Kindle
This is a great Romantasy book full of action, adventure, and everything you look for in this genre. I won’t lie: it does kinda feel like the author found every common trope from every successful book of this kind and threw them all into this novel. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Especially in romance, there’s a large audience who has specific expectations, and they want them every time. Nothing wrong with that and many times I’m one of them. I have no idea what defines a spoiler honestly, so spoiler alert!!!!!!! Tropes include: Only one bed at the inn/bar Dissatisfaction with life before hunk appears Lost royalty The chosen one Montage of dress up time followed by shocked hunk Forbidden romance between two from rival peoples Power that cannot be controlled, simply guided/asked Gathering intel at the inn/bar FMC who knows how to fight/use weapons well There’s probably more but no need to list them all. Good story and I would recommend!

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
