Kate's mother is pleased at first because "He owns a farm a wee bit out of the town" but it doesn't end so well after he spends the money her father left her and "is always on the tear." Growing up I would have heard songs like this from the likes of Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy and many others. I made this lithograph myself

I made this lithograph myself from beginning to end, from the initial idea, through painting each layer on the litho stone, processing and proofing each colour, to printing the edition.
