Based on the company's Sensei platform, this axe features a 2-knob configuration (volume and bass contour), an ultra-speedy bound ebony fretboard, and a pair of Reverend’s innovative Railhammer Chisel pickups. Like all Reverend guitars, the Robin Finck Signature is packed with boutique appointments, including Pin-Lock tuners, premium electronics, a dual-action truss rod, and a custom 4-screw jack plate. It even has vintage pedal-style knobs with glow-in-the-dark knob lines — perfect for darkened, fog-filled stages! Tone, tone, tone!

Reverend Guitars' founder Joe Naylor is a tone junkie who is constantly working and reworking body and pickup designs to maximize sonic goodness. A bona fide prodigy, Joe not only founded Reverend Guitars in 1996, but also Railhammer pickups in 2012! For this signature electric, Robin selected Railhammer Chisel humbuckers. These unique pickups feature rails under the wound strings that keep the lows tight and thick, while traditional poles are found under the plain strings for fat highs. And a bridge volume, neck volume, tone, Bass Contour, and 3-way switch controls let you shape your tone even further!

Fine-tune your sound with the Bass Contour control

Guitarists often wonder why more guitars don't offer a bass roll-off control like the Robin Finck Signature's Bass Contour knob. Dial it back just a bit to tighten up your rhythm tones, or roll it back further to emphasize attack and presence. Or use it in conjunction with the standard tone control for mid-focused tones you normally couldn't achieve without an EQ or filter pedal.

Ultra-smooth, comfortable set neck

The 3-piece korina neck on the Robin Finck Signature has been cut to a medium oval profile for a comfortable feel in your hand that makes lead runs and chords up and down the pau ferro fingerboard extra smooth. Many guitarists appreciate a set-neck design due to its warmer tone and sensitive response. And with a dual-action truss rod, you can adjust it in both directions, allowing back bow or forward bow to suit your preferred action. The dual-action design also means correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, changes in climate conditions, or the effects of long-term aging!
