　　父親過世了，女扮男裝的帕瓦娜必須獨自去尋找因戰爭而失散的姐姐、弟弟、妹妹及媽媽。在一個飽受戰火蹂躪的村子裡，她撿到一名奄奄一息的嬰兒和一名年齡比她小一點的缺腳男孩，她和男孩共同照顧嬰兒，一路不停的拌嘴鬧意見，卻又相扶相持的度過種種難關。在一個美麗的地方，她們遇到了一名瞎眼老奶奶和一名可愛的小女孩，心想假如沒辦法找到家人，能夠和這個小妹妹待在這個好地方也不錯，沒想又遭炮彈攻擊，老奶奶死了，小女孩只好和他們一起離開。沿路炮聲隆隆，他們沒有食物沒有水，連她身邊帶的書也被他們吃完了。幸好在危難時候，他們找到難民營，接受了救援，並找到了帕瓦娜的家人。

　　帕瓦娜延續了她在《戰火下的小花》裡的堅韌，讓我們看到阿富汗的人民在患難中仍對未來懷有一絲希望。這個故事的背景雖然離我們很遠，卻是真實的寫照，它讓讀者認識到戰火下人民的無助與無奈，也讓讀者質疑人們發動戰爭的真正意義，以及懂得珍惜和平的可貴……

This is a firm product you have to really need to apply more pressure than I thought you would to get a small amount on your fingers then have to rub that on your fingers or hands to get it to where you can apply it to your beard. I likee ow easy some others have more of a cream style but for me the smell just beats out the others especially when paired with there beard oil.
