These Semi-Cured Gel nail wraps, made from real gel nail polish that is 60% pre-cured, apply similarly to our standard nail wraps. A brief 60-second exposure to UV LED light hardens these strips, resulting in a durable manicure that lasts up to 14 days. They're particularly advantageous for those with thin or brittle nails, as they provide added strength and support.

Application steps:

1. Nail Preparation: Start by preparing your nails: push back the cuticles and clean them with a degreasing dish soap, like Dawn, or wipe your nails with an alcohol prep pad to remove oils and debris.

2. Choosing the Right Wrap Size: Choose a strip that matches your nail size perfectly or opt for one slightly smaller for an optimal fit. If necessary, gently stretch the strip, making sure it does not come into contact with the skin surrounding your nail. It's better to use smaller sizes rather than larger ones to prevent overlap on your skin or cuticles.

3. Application: Carefully peel off the clear protective layer and apply the nail wrap to your nail, touching the adhesive as little as possible to maintain its stickiness. Use the wooden stick provided or a rubber cuticle pusher, secure the the strip onto your nail. Rolling the edges with the side of the stick helps to prevent lifting and snagging of the nail wraps. Ensure they're correctly positioned before curing.

4. Curing Under a UV LED Lamp: After you've perfectly applied the wraps, cure them by placing your nails under a UV LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Trimming Excess Wrap: Once the wraps are cured, you may notice some overhang beyond your nail tips. Use nail clippers or curved cuticle scissors for precise trimming. The goal is to cut the wrap down to the exact size of your nail, avoiding any overlapping edges which can lead to peeling or snagging.

6. Filing Off Remaining Excess: After trimming, use a nail file to smooth out the edges. Remember to file downwards, starting from the tip of your nail. This technique is key in sealing the edge of the wrap to your nail and helps to prevent any lifting.

7. Applying a Top Coat (Optional): For added shine and an extra layer of protection, consider applying a clear top coat or UV gel top coat over the wrap. This not only enhances the wrap's appearance but also extends its longevity by protecting it from chips and scratches. 

8. Storing Unused Strips: If you have leftover nail wrap strips, store them back in their original, dark packaging. Exposure to light, especially UV light, can cause the wraps to cure or harden prematurely. Keeping them in a dark place ensures they remain pliable and ready to use for your next manicure.

To take off the wraps, start by gently lifting a corner to break the seal. For easy removal, you should use nail polish remover or warm coconut oil along with a rubber cuticle pusher to gently dissolve the adhesive between the wrap and your nail. It's important not to peel or forcefully pry them off, as this could harm your natural nails.

Age Recommendation: Semi-Cured Gel wraps are best suited for adults. We don’t recommend them for children or younger teens, since gels require UV light to cure and can be trickier to remove.
