The ALTA PRO 2+ 263CT is a lightweight CARBON FIBRE tripod with an intuitive MULTI-ANGLE CENTRAL COLUMN. Weighing just 1.6kg and with a maximum load capacity of up to 7 kg it provides the stability, durability and reliability you want as well as the precision you need in your kit. The tripod offers a generous height of 162cm (excluding head) and 4 leg angles (20°, 40°, 60° or 80°) that allows setup in any conditions. Multi-Angle Central Column
The Multi-Angle Central Column can be moved to almost any position (+/- 90° with 360° panning) making it perfect for macro and landscape photography, or anything in between.
The new features in the Alta Pro 2+ also mean that this is an intuitive process and fast process. Simply unscrew three central columns locking knobs, adjust to almost any position, re-lock.
Model shown is the Alta Pro 2+ 263AB 100 which includes the Alta BH-100 Ball Head.
Innovative Twist Locks
All models have innovative leg locks that are designed for any photographer - whether you're a fan of flip locks or pan locks.
For speed, the locks only need to be turned 35° (not even a 1/4 turn) and stop turning when you've gone far enough (so no more unscrewing the leg in error).
They also include visual lock/unlock image so you can see at a glance whether the leg is locked.

Four Leg Angles
All models feature four separate leg angles (20°, 40°, 60° or 80°) which allow you to get down low or to set the legs so the tripod is stable in the most uneven terrain
The leg angles are controlled by twin clips on either side of the top of each leg. These can be operated together, or separately. This makes it easy to set for both left or right handed photographers.
