Lauryl Sulfate Broth
Lauryl Sulfate Broth, otherwise known as Lauryl Tryptose Broth, is a liquid medium used for the detection of coliforms in water and wastewater. Coliforms are often used as indicators of fecal contamination in water and bacterial contamination in food products. Enzymatic Digest of Casein offers a source of nitrogen, vitamins, and minerals. Lactose is added to detect its fermentation by coliforms, while the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate acts as a selective agent against non-coliform organisms. Sodium Chloride is used to maintain the osmotic balance of the medium and the Potassium Phosphates act as buffering agents. There is a choice of 3 sizes - 500g, 2kg, and 10kg.
PREPARATION: Mix 35.6 grams of the medium in one liter of purified water until evenly dispersed. Heat with repeated stirring until boiling to dissolve completely. Distribute and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.

They stay out! No more sock wads!

Best no show socks ever made!!!!! I've been struggling for 2 years to find ones that actually stay on your foot, even other national brands, and I just became content wearing my sneakers without socks. They ALWAYS slid down into my show & I ended up walking on a wad of sock until I could fix it...or usually just took them off after a couple of tries. Enter Under Armor!!! They a mid weight, but not very thick & still breathable. They work too by actually staying on your foot! Not once have they slid down into my show!! Very comfortable but they could be a little more affordable.
