Set back from the forested swamps and grassy fens, down a private, winding country drive and framed by hundred year old willows, lies an estate much like a grand tomb.

An old southern home, a relic of another time ... and seemingly misplaced amid Cloven's cold, northern wood.

Haunted by it's history, it's lore and it's very special brand of storytellers, the Esther-Barlow Estate has endured many a hardship as well as celebrated victories. 

It's ghosts live on, inspiring both fear and admiration. Thieves, dignitaries, old world aristocrats and voodoo legends. 

The faint aroma of cigars, gunsmoke, stale gin and perfume linger, tempting one to close their eyes and imagine the lavish parties, the decadent holiday feasts, the tumultuous romances and clandestine meetings by candlelight. 

Concealing hidden passageways and underground tunnels constructed for the sole purpose of stealing into the night, the Esther-Barlow home was built for intrigue in true southern gothic flare. 

An ode to the grand estate lies within strands of delicate textural, hand-crocheted yarn.

It's hue, a pale sand with a subtle ribbon of green-blue shifting thread running throughout. The color of said thread is best seen in sunlight.

The scarf itself measures 3-1/2" wide x 80" long.

The fringe is approx. 10" long. 

This Storyteller design should be hand washed cold, excess water gently expressed and laid flat to dry.
