The Pit Stop has a suede upper with a perforated tongue and heel for added breathability and it has leather panels on the toe box and heel for extra durability. The anti-static, fuel and oil resistant rubber sole was designed for maximum grip and has a toe cap that helps protect the toe area when in the kneeling position. Internal lace system to help protect from snagging. The Pit Stop has an extra padded collar area with a Velcro closure which gives extra support. The internal foot bed has a special cushioned insole that gives maximum comfort. The Pit Stop is available in black in sizes 7.5 to 15. SFI Homologated

False advertising--it won't froth almond milk.

Bought this because I am vegetarian and I've consumed Almond milk for the past 15 years. The profile on this product said it would froth all milks, including almond. It does not--it heats the almond milk but does not froth it. It did froth 2% cow's milk I served a visitor, but I won't use cow's milk. I missed the return date by 1 day, or it would have been returned this product for a full refund. If you want to froth plant/ nut milk, don't waste your $$$.

substitute for an ineffective espresso machine steam wand

On sale, this item was reasonably priced. It very effectively heats and froths milk in two or so minutes. Less milk enables a more intense froth. It easily cleans up with soap and hot water. It appears to be well- engineered. It proves to be an able companion to an espresso machine.

Makes great thick foam. Will overflow if you fill to the max line— not so fun to clean up. Best results are 1/2 to 3/4 of max line. Tried heavy cream, whole milk, and evaporated milk. All three work great.
