Vasofix® Safety is a peripheral IV catheter with an injection port and a passive fully automatic needlestick protection. The single-use device is intended to generate intravascular access to sample blood, administer fluids/medication and blood/blood products intravenously.
The device can be used for all patients for which infusion therapy is prescribed. No gender or age related limitations. Vasofix® Safety can be used for adults, pediatrics and neonates.
Advantages:
- Passive Safety Shield – A passive fully automatic protection helps eliminating needlestick injuries and related infections. It deploys automatically, cannot be bypassed and requires no user activation
- Double Flashback Technology - Confirms that both needle and catheter capillary are inside the vessel. First needle flash confirms needle is in vein, second catheter flash confirms catheter is in vein
- Universal Back Cut Bevel – Allows for a wide choice of insertion angles and is designed for minimal puncture trauma
- Radiopaque Stripes - For a good visibility of the catheter capillary under X-Ray.
- IV catheter material available in PUR and FEP – PUR for a softer and more comfortable indwelling performance, FEP as alternative firmer material
- Fixation Wings – Stabilization helps to reduce catheter movement and related complications
- Injection Port – Allows for quick injection without interruption of infusion

Easy for lo to learn to use and hold

Our little one is already 20 months old, who had started baby led feeding months ago but I realized I was still doing most of his feeding:( I decided that it was time for him to try to feed himself completely and ISO of baby/toddler utensils, I was attracted to this cute spoon/fork set, assuming that short handles would be easier for him to learn how to use and hold utensils. I was right! He knew these are his utensils for mealtime when we first gave him and stopped trying to grab mine, yeah! He figured out how to use them in no time, though he's still polishing up his technique haha. These utensils keep lo's hands busy during mealtime, which makes us happy parents :)

Great for toddlers!

Perfect size for a 1 year old - he got the hang of these within seconds. Our small silicone utensils can't stab anything, but the other metal toddler ones were way too big for him. They were definitely smaller than I expected, but they are perfect. Here is a picture for size comparison to our other kid utensils.

Favorite Daily Moisturizing Sunscreen!
I heard about this product on Dr. Dray's You Tube Channel. She is a great dermatologist that gives excellent recommendations on sunscreens and beauty products. She uses science based research & reputable companies. She is also conscious of product costs and offers budget friendly options to protect your skin. Eucerin is one of her favorites and sunscreen is a daily requirement, not a recommendation if you want to keep healthy skin. I have been on the search for years for a favorite. I kept getting greasy results or a white cast. This one offers more of a moisturizing effect as it has hyaluronic acid in it along side sunscreen to protect your skin. I have never had a white cast from this one. It is not waterproof, but a nice one for daily use and under make up. It doesn't smell or clog my pores. I have used about 4 bottles at this point and plan to keep using this one. It is great! I also use the body sunscreen in the tube as well. I like them both.

Absorbs well; no oily feel. Great sun protection!
I got a sample of this from my dermatologist and loved it so I switched to this brand! It has a lightweight feel, absorbs well without leaving a white cast, and has a matte-like finish without feeling dry. It's similar to Laroche-Posay Anthelios Clean Sunscreen, but is more moisturizing and a lot cheaper! I have rosacea - this sunscreen doesn't cause breakouts. I use the 50 SPF facial moisturizer on my face (duh) and the tube of the 30 SPF on my neck and chest. Great products!
