Your Swiss Army Knife Multi-format Converter

Do you deal with multiple formats in your work? The Ferrofish Pulse16 DX packs a high-density array of I/O totaling 354 channels, letting you connect and route a wide range of analog, MADI, ADAT, and Dante gear with up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. The Pulse16 DX is equipped with 16 balanced analog inputs and outputs along with ADAT and MADI interfaces. In addition, the Pulse16 DX offers two RJ45 ports for integration into a Dante audio network with 64 channels of Dante/AES67 I/O. With its versatile feature set and impressive array of formats, the Ferrofish Pulse16 DX is a major problem solver for studio and live sound applications.

Networked audio with format conversion

The Pulse16 DX not only lets you integrate all 16 analog inputs and outputs into your network, but it also provides format conversion between various digital interfaces. Word clock and MIDI I/O are included for embedding signals and remote control, as well as popular features from Ferrofish’s flagship A32, including preset management, panel lock, and a sophisticated routing matrix. We’re quite impressed with how well spec’d the Pulse16 DX is, considering its compact, fan-less, 1U chassis and its budget-friendly price tag. All things considered, the Ferrofish Pulse16 DX is a great choice wherever high-end, multi-format conversion and networked audio is required: recording and broadcast studios, performance venues, educational facilities, houses of worship, and more.

High-quality converters and clocking

The Pulse16 DX’s high-density rear panel provides 16 x 16 analog I/O on balanced TRS connectors. Combined with a high-precision, temperature-compensated clock, active jitter reduction, and high-quality Cirrus Logic 24-bit/192kHz converters, the Pulse16 DX delivers an exceptionally detailed sound. On the digital side, the multi-format device provides optical MADI I/O with up to 64 channels of I/O. The ADAT TOSlink ports can convert all 16 analog channels up to 96kHz. Add to that 64 x 64 channels of Dante/AES67 to its already-impressive array of formats, and the Pulse16 DX is truly the Swiss Army knife multi-format converter for your studio or live sound rig.

Fun Lessons
Format: Paperback
You can never go wrong with reading a Richard Scarry book. This book teaches manners to young children very well. My young granddaughter has started speaking in complete sentences, and she is using please and thank you. This book is a good introduction for using these words.

Fun way to learn good behavior!
Format: Paperback
Good value for the price, you get 7 short stories with this book & the illustrations are very well done. If your child's attention span can't handle the entire book you can still manage a few. Lots of funny action pictures to hold their interest, my 4 1/2 yr old son flips through the book on his own just to look at the pictures and they are descriptive enough to follow the story without reading the words. It's a favorite book to listen to because he is of age to get in trouble and to be held accountable, so he likes to see that he is not the only one. His favorite story is Pig Will and Pig Won't. Hint: Say "I won't" with an angry piggy snort! This cracks kids up, they will anticipate the words and snort along with you "I won't"! Sometimes works to change a defiant or lazy mood when I ask him to do something, I will ask "is my D. a pig will or pig won't today?".. helps to snort a little! Can't overuse it though..

too advanced for 18month old, but great book!
Format: Paperback
I love Richard Scarry! I bought this book for my 18 month old, who we are trying to teach to say please and thank you. Unfortunately this book is just way too advanced for her. It's full on stories rather than short pieces. I know, the suggested age was older but that is true for a lot of books that really can be enjoyed by younger tots. This one will be put away for at least another 6 months, and then kept on the shelf of "appropriate" but not in her board book box. However, I really like that she can now say "Lowly" :) Richard Scarry is one of my favorite authors/illustrators from childhood and I'm glad to have this book. It just is beyond the reach of my LO at this age.
