In demanding healthcare environments, protecting essential equipment from power anomalies is not optional—it’s a patient-safety and operational imperative. The Tripp Lite by Eaton Isobar ISOBAR6ULTRAHG Hospital-Grade 6-Outlet Surge Protector is engineered to deliver network-grade surge protection with a robust 3330 joules rating, guarding sensitive medical devices, diagnostic workstations, and clinical monitors against the most aggressive surges and transient spikes. Built to withstand the rigors of busy hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers, this unit combines rugged construction with thoughtful design to support reliable uptime, data integrity, and uninterrupted patient care in non-patient-care areas. While it provides premium protection for critical electronics, it is not intended for patient-care vicinities, aligning with safety standards that balance device protection with prudent use in clinical workflows.

The Isobar line is renowned for its durable protection platform, and the ISOBAR6ULTRAHG extends that heritage with a hospital-grade focus. Its protection architecture is designed to absorb transient energy without compromising connected equipment, helping to shield vital devices—from patient-care administration systems to critical lab instruments and bedside carts—from damaging voltage events that can occur during startup sequences, power outages, or grid fluctuations. The result is a protection solution that supports consistent device performance, reduces the risk of data loss and equipment failure, and minimizes the potential for costly downtime in environments where every minute matters. This model’s emphasis on reliability makes it a trusted choice for healthcare facilities seeking to safeguard a broad range of devices without sacrificing convenient access or workflow efficiency.

With six outlets, this surge protector consolidates power efficiently for healthcare workstations, control rooms, and non-patient-care spaces where multiple devices must be powered from a single, centralized source. The six hospital-grade outlets are spaced to accommodate a mix of medical and IT equipment, cutting down on clutter and eliminating the need for risky daisy-chaining of smaller power strips. Whether you’re powering monitors, transcription devices, network equipment, or infusion pump consoles in non-patient-care zones, the ISOBAR6ULTRAHG offers a versatile, shielded power hub that keeps essential devices ready for action while minimizing electrical noise and interference that can affect sensitive electronics. Clinicians and support staff benefit from a straightforward, reliable power solution that supports rapid reconfiguration as workflows evolve throughout shifts and departments.

The 15-foot (4.57 m) cord is a practical feature that adds flexibility in busy clinical spaces. Hospitals often require outlets that aren’t immediately adjacent to workstations, carts, or treatment bays. A longer cord reduces the need for extensions or risk-prone daisy-chaining, helping maintain a tidy, safer workspace. The cord length also supports safer cable management around equipment caddies, nursing stations, and back-office areas where space is at a premium. By enabling clinicians to position the surge protector where it’s most convenient while keeping power connections organized, this model supports both workflow efficiency and patient safety. Combined with the six outlets and the robust protection rating, the extended reach makes the ISOBAR6ULTRAHG a versatile addition to clinical engineering toolkits and departmental power plans.

LED indicators are an everyday usability highlight. The protection-status LEDs provide at-a-glance confirmation that the unit is active and delivering the intended surge protection. In high-pressure environments, where quick decisions matter, staff can verify that connected devices are protected with a quick visual cue rather than having to reference a manual or test equipment. This intuitive feedback helps reduce downtime, speeds troubleshooting, and enhances the overall reliability of clinical operations. In addition, the LEDs contribute to proactive maintenance by giving technicians an easy way to monitor the health of the surge protection circuitry over time, allowing timely replacements before a disturbingly low protection margin could impact critical devices.

From a safety and regulatory perspective, the UL 1363 hospital-grade certification reinforces confidence in the product’s suitability for healthcare settings. UL 1363 is recognized for establishing rigorous safety and performance criteria for surge-protective devices used in professional environments. This validation means institutions can rely on standardized safety performance as part of their equipment protection plans. The ISOBAR6ULTRAHG is designed to be rugged enough for daily hospital use, including frequent cleaning and routine reconfiguration of workspaces, while maintaining the protection integrity of plugged-in devices. It’s an ideal fit for non-patient-care areas where devices must be shielded from transient electrical events without compromising workflow or safety standards. Remember, though, this unit is explicitly marked as Not For Patient-Care Vicinities, underscoring the importance of deploying protection where it aligns with safety guidelines and clinical workflows.

how to install Tripp Lite by Eaton Isobar Hospital-Grade 6-Outlet Surge Protector

Installing the ISOBAR6ULTRAHG is straightforward and designed for quick, safe use in clinical environments. Begin by selecting a dry, grounded outlet that can comfortably supply the connected devices without exceeding the circuit’s rated capacity. Place the surge protector in a convenient location that minimizes cable tension and keeps cords and devices accessible for staff. Insert the 15-foot cord into the chosen grounded outlet, ensuring the plug is fully seated. Connect your essential devices to the six hospital-grade outlets, prioritizing critical equipment—such as monitors and control panels—near the surge protector’s top outlets for easy access and visibility. Turn on the unit using the integrated power switch and verify that the protection-status LED indicators illuminate, signaling that the device is actively safeguarding the connected electronics.

When configuring devices, avoid overloading the unit beyond its surge and current ratings. Do not use extension cords or daisy-chain multiple power strips in series with this surge protector, as this can compromise safety and performance. Place the unit away from sources of moisture, heat, or clutter that could hinder airflow or cause overheating. Regularly inspect the LEDs to confirm continued protection; if indicators dim or fail, replace the unit promptly to maintain protection integrity. Finally, document the installation according to your facility’s electrical safety procedures, and ensure staff are aware of the unit’s Not For Patient-Care Vicinities designation so it’s used in the correct non-patient-care contexts within the hospital environment. Following these steps will help maximize the protection lifecycle of the devices connected to ISOBAR6ULTRAHG while supporting safe and efficient clinical operations.

fallen destiny? more like destined to fall in love
Format: Kindle
Kieran is an angel, but she doesn't have an affinity. Nothing angers her father more. If she doesn't find an affinity soon she will be cast to earth & have her wings removed. But she has the choice to become a fallen angel, wings turn black, & live her life on edge. Towards the end of the book things start to make sense. Gabe’s nickname for Kieran, Steele’a hatred, Bastian’s belief that Kieran is powerful. This book ended literally during a war? As one of her friends was injured, and admitted a bit secret? Talk about cliff hanger. The next book comes out August 5th.

Well holy moly!
Format: Kindle
Holy moly that story definitely had me hooked! Kieran was definitely a character that I immediately adored. She has obviously had to deal with a butt load of too high expectations from her father (who is 🤬).. She has been helpless when it came to finding out her affinity with so many years of no answers & perceived failure. When Ronan, gives her a small inkling of hope that she be a Beast Tamer, she jumps into it. But again she doesn’t seem to fit. But when she runs into Gabe again, she ends up helping him & rethinking her life in Alfemir. And when the opportunity comes she decides leaving is the best option. But when Ronan demands he comes with her & then the random appearance of Bastian, she is feeling very overwhelmed. After she chooses to fall with them, they land on earth exactly where Gabe is located only to run into Steele who is a person that I was finding hard to like. After training, she eventually finds out she does have an affinity & it’s one that no longer exist & is incredibly powerful but also has a prophecy attached to it. I feel incredibly bad for her on she learns about the prophecy & Steele’s connection with it too. But that ending, with the battle scene & Niz….yeah definitely was not expecting that but hello I am all here for it too! Absolutely amazing start of a series & I for sure will be waiting for the next one to come out. Amazing job!

So good!
Format: Kindle
Wings of Stars was a fantastic first book to a new series. It grabbed me in its clutches within the first chapter and kept ahold of me. This new world of M Sinclair and RL Caulder’s is all about angels and mythical creatures. It’s full of drama from all points. From Kieran’s awful home life to keeping the stars alive and everything in between. Kieran is our FMC and despite everything she keeps her spirit and defiance. Keeping to their norm, there is a group of guys for our FMC but they definitely aren’t established yet, and not fully cemented yet into being a group rather than her choosing between them. Ronan is so sweet and gives off Daddy vibes Gabe is also sweet and wants the best of everything for Kieran and will defend her against anyone Bastian is slightly unhinged but I loved him immediately Steele is a jerk… just as you find redeeming qualities, he screws up again… but yet I still want him to redeem himself. There’s another one… but if I gave his name I would be spoiling a plot twist so you will just have to find out yourself… but you’ll love him as much as I do. This is a slow burn but the little bit of spice we do get is hot, especially with the dirty talk.

Angels and the Fallen — Breathtaking Start
Format: Kindle
This book was EVERYTHING I expected it to be and more. Leave to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair to give us yet another amazing book! Kieran and her guys hooked me from the very beginning and did not let go. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it was done so well in this book. Couple that along with an FMC trying to find her place in the world and I was practically drooling over this book. The world building, the conflict, the wyverin sidekick — it all was done so well that it felt fresh and real. Each love interest felt real and unique in their own ways. I felt connected to each one and like they were truly different people. I love that so much in a book and these two authors never miss with their love interests. Multi POV, Reverse harem, who did this to you, and a magical world highlighting the angels and the fallen. This book has everything and it does it so well. Big thank you to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair for the arc copy! I cannot wait for book 2!

A new take 🤔
Format: Kindle
I’m not going to go into what this book is about — by now you e already read the synopsis and have an idea — but I will give a couple of insights. Definitely a different take on angels and their fall; I like it. This is an interesting start to a new series - YES, this does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I’m eager for the next book (and hopefully the last in this series — sometimes the author(s) will switch it up depending on how the story flows for them) in this series. I’m hoping that a certain male character redeems himself because he’s a dick that will make the meaning of mixed signals jealous lol. You ever watch that old movie — I think it’s call Mommy Dearest? — yea, let’s switch that up to daddy. That man would make a perfect husband to mommy dearest. I recommend this book because while these authors are well known for their cliffhangers, they are also well known for putting out good stories.
