How to Install Asus Tinker Board

Installing the Asus Tinker Board involves preparing a bootable OS image on a microSD card, inserting the card into the board, and powering up to begin configuration. The process is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering the depth needed by advanced users.

  • Prepare a computer with an SD card reader and download a compatible OS image from official sources or trusted community builds. Verify that the image is appropriate for your board revision to ensure optimal performance and hardware compatibility.
  • Write the OS image to a microSD card using a reliable image writing tool. Ensure the card is large enough for the selected image and formatted correctly if required by the tool you’re using.
  • Insert the microSD card into the designated slot on the Tinker Board. Connect any required peripherals, such as a display, keyboard, mouse, and network connection, to start the first boot.
  • Power the board with a suitable 5V supply or the recommended power source for your model. After powering up, the board will boot into the OS installer or the first‑boot setup screen, where you can configure language, network, user accounts, and other essential settings.
  • Follow the on‑screen prompts to finalize the initial configuration. Once the system is configured, you can install updates, add development tools, and begin building your project. For headless setups, initial SSH access and Wi‑Fi or Ethernet configuration can be performed remotely after you enable the network interface.

Chef’s Kiss! Quality Product at an Amazing Price!
Size: Large
The large is a perfect size for my 66# and 110#. If you have a smaller dog, consider a medium. Fill them with peanut butter, 1/2 banana each, wet kibble (paste) or pumpkin puree, and put into the freezer. Not as stiff as their Kongs. Both dogs are strong chewers and these have held up. Clean the inside with a baby bottle brush.

Stands up to puppy teeth!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I was fostering 2 7-week old puppies that chewed on EVERYTHING! I got these AND a couple of the Kong brand chew toys. These have stood up much better to the puppy teeth than the Kongs did. I throw them in the dishwasher (not every time) and I also have a small straw brush to clean them. They are easy to fill, and once they are done with the treats (PB butter, yogurt, pumpkin, apple sauce etc.), they continue to chew on these. When you throw them, they have a fun bonce. I ended up foster failing one of the puppies, but we still use these often. They still look brand new and I have had them for about 6 months. I got the medium, my dog is about 13 lbs now and the size is perfect for her. The material is strong and I don't hear a peep when she is chewing on it. I would 100% recommend these!

Great toys. Bouncy, chewable long term.
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
We got these for our puppy and to see how they would compare to kongs. Our dogs love these more than the kongs and so far, with two chewy dogs, they have not destroyed these yet. They are very bouncy and provide a lot of chasing fun. We will be buying more and we recommend these.

Durable
Size: Large
Excellent material. I wish the hole was a little smaller to keep the treats in better. Also wish they were a little larger and/or oddly shaped so as not to fit under the sofa. Still totally worth it.

Subtle, great dog toy design!
Size: Large
These things are amazing. Stuff them with peanut butter and treats and freeze them of course, but football spike them across the yard to drive your overly hyped dog nuts! And the hole allows you to safely pry it out of a tug battle , just a great design! And it can bobble across a small living space without getting lost like a ball would. Love it!
