Quaker Armchair by L.Ercolani
An evolution of the Windsor design, the Quaker armchair presents a tall u-shaped, six spindle back and sculpted oval seat for a supportive sit. Construction:
- Solid ash timber.
- Features a Windsor wedge joint, where the leg of the chair goes right through the seat. A wedge is then inserted into a cut in the leg, forming a remarkably strong joint. Sanded off flush with the seat, the joint then provides a beautiful design element.
- Additional strength is provided by the H underframe.
