Robbie Fulks' debut album - now on vinyl for the first time - was the surprise hit of '96, and at the time served notice that a) Country Music did NOT have to suck b) that he was a top-notch songwriter and performer and c) things in the underground country scene were never going to be the same. Truly the bar had been raised. Let's let Robbie describe it: "13 original country songs with an early 50's production aesthetic (hot vocals, robust bass, live instrumental tracks) and arrangement, reviving certain types of songs long abandoned by mainstream country music. Likewise in retro spirit, these songs will frequently violate current country songwriting trends which hold as taboo themes of negativism, forceful expression, and points of view uncongenial to the prevailing ideology of fatuous feelgoodism; they will instead reflect a modern sensibility in their emotional graphicness, vigorous iconoclasm, and sense of humor. In composition and presentation the music will honestly reflect the heart and personality of it's author/singer, and in it's fundamental sincerity will stand resolutely against the poisonous tides of camp." Co-produced by Steve Albini, and features appearances by the Skeletons, and Tom Brumley (of the Buckaroos!), and drop-dead, now classic cool honky tonk gems like "Every Kinda Music But Country," "The Buck Starts Here," and the sing-a-long fave "She Took A Lot Of Pills (And Died)." Foodies will love "The Scrapple Song," duet fetishists will adore "We'll Burn Together" and sinners will love "Let's Live Together."

Love this bag!

I love this backpack! I had a messenger style bag before this one and when I would look for things, other things would fall out because it was one big pouch. This is so much better. I can fit everything I need in it and everything has a place. The zippers are not cheap flimsy ones. They will definitely stand the test of time. The material is awesome and is definitely water resistant. I got caught in the rain and my things were kept nice and dry. The style is so cute too! It’s my favorite color.

It is so roomy, a couple of the compartments are empty!
It’s great if you have any kind of back pain! I did buy a crossbody strap to use as an alternative.

Easy to use, multi strap, everyday bag
This bag is super handy and feels very durable. I at first didn’t like the 3 types of straps included on it because it felt like over kill but I don’t mind it after using it regularly. I wish the long strap was thicker, more durable material but it does match the sewn on straps on the bag. The design is a bit bold for my taste but it is different, fun and unique. The canvas texture of the bag makes it easy to use everyday without concerns of excessive wear. It also has a large carrying capacity. I can fit tablet, phone, makeup, snack, large water bottle, wallet and more while still zipping at the top. I would have given 5 ⭐️ if not for the long strap which I don’t feel will last with heavy loading and daily use. And if you switch the strap out it won’t match the sewn on ones so that’s a bummer.

3.5 stars, really - not a bad bag
Okay, I like this bag. I will use it and I'm glad I got it. However...
First of all, it smelled terrible out of the package. It's like a chemical smell and a rotten smell. That may just be the one I got. I let it air out by hanging it on our hall tree, and it has gotten better.
The material is like a thin corduroy almost, which I like better than canvas. I also like how the decorative strap on the bag matches the handle straps. There is plenty of room in this bag, but it's not a bottomless cavern. So you can still find what you are looking for in it.
You could use this for a laptop bag or professional bag. I will probably just carry it as a purse with certain outfits. I think the brown color goes with a lot, and the designs all work for fall.
