Background
TIM-3 (T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-3), also known as HAVCR2, is a 60 kDa member of the TIM family of immune regulating molecules. TIMs are type I transmembrane glycoproteins with one Ig-like V-type domain and a Ser/Thr-rich mucin stalk region. Mature mouse TIM-3 consists of a 174 amino acid (aa) extracellular domain (ECD), a 21 aa transmembrane segment, and a 67 aa cytoplasmic tail. Within the ECD, mouse TIM-3 shares 58% and 75% aa sequence identity with human and rat TIM-3, respectively. Recently, the identification of Galectin-9 as a ligand for TIM-3 has established the TIM-3-Galectin-9 pathway as an important regulator of Th1 immunity and tolerance induction. Engagement of Tim-3 by its ligand galectin-9 negatively regulates IFN-gamma secretion and influences the ability to induce T cell tolerance in both mice and man. The TIM-3-galectin-9 pathway could underlie chronic autoimmune disease states, such as multiple sclerosis. Numerous studies have demonstrated that Tim-3 influences autoimmune diseases, including diabetes and multiple sclerosis, and its role in other inflammatory diseases including allergies and cancer is beginning to become clear. In the tumor rejection model, the soluble form of Tim-3 (sTim-3) significantly impaired T cell antitumor immunity, evidenced by decreased antitumor CTL activity and reduced amount of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in the tumor.

Don’t but this…

The holder came quickly and isn’t that bad but mounts with a huge adhesive backing, which again isn’t;t bad, but it was sent in a plastic bad, like a zip lock bag. The adhesive backing has NO protecvtyive strip on it, so it is covered in lint and debris and was sticking to the bag it was sent in.

I just hope it will last for a long time

The material is not cheap, I mean it’s a really good silicone!
Very easy to use out of the box, and it did fit two of my bricks.
All I hope is that it will last for a long time stuck under my desk since I had to stick my bricks upside down.

Works great. Keeps things nice and tidy.

Works great! I regularly use the end of my dining table as a spot to use my laptop and really wanted a more organized way of keeping the cord tidy. This of course would also easily work on a desk as well
It's completely made from a nice stretchy and durable silicone and could accommodate pretty good size chargers. My charger is pretty small so it doesn't fit tightly, but it still works perfectly. It's also super easy to install. The reverse side of this has really strong adhesive to hold onto whatever flat surface you attach it to. Mine is adhered to the underside of a wood table and so far it doesn't appear to have any issues with it. I should mention that since it's held on by adhesive, it's not something you can easily move after installed, so put it where you want it to permanently be. That said, for the price you can easily get a second or a third one if you need it in multiple locations.
Overall, it works great and it really keeps my laptop charger off the floor and everything is nice and tidy.

Nice, BUT a few mounting holes would have made it 5 stars!

These seem to be fine but since I have to use this to hold a power brick to a wood joist which is NOT smooth, the included adhesive back is not something that will hold securely! I ended up have to screw two wafer head screws through the rubber backing and into the joist to hold the holder to the wood joist securely. If they put some thought into the design, it would have been nice, if they had incorporated a few mounting holes, which would have taken care if this being mounted to items that are not smooth such as a wood joist or other rough surfaces!
