Introducing the Percussion Plus djembe 20 player pack

This Percussion Plus djembe 20 player pack is crafted from certified Indonesian timber from SVLK compliant sources, ensuring the wood is responsibly logged, traded and processed. Each drum features a natural shaved goat skin head, chosen for its authentic tone and durability, and is built to withstand regular classroom use.

Traditionally, djembes are played in ensembles, making group sessions ideal for practising rhythm collaboratively. This is particularly suited to school settings or music therapy, where shared playing encourages participation and engagement.

Playing the djembe offers a sensory experience that can support motor skills, reduce stress, and foster confidence. It also encourages teamwork and provides a fun way for children and adults alike to enjoy making music together.

Packs for 7, 10 and 15 are also available.

Please note: as the drums are made by hand, head measurements are approximate (accurate to within 1"). Single drums are available to purchase here.

Superbly made in leading Bali factory

Crafted in a world-leading djembe manufacturing facility in Bali, these djembes reflect generations of specialist knowledge combined with modern production standards. Each drum features a refined one-piece body construction, carefully shaped to maximise strength, balance and long-term resonance. Produced alongside some of the most respected names in percussion, these djembes are subject to rigorous quality control at every stage, ensuring consistent build quality and dependable performance. The use of certified SVLK compliant Indonesian timber supports responsible sourcing while helping the instrument retain its tonal integrity over time, making it a reliable and enduring choice for education and ensemble use.

Unique design

The distinctive features of the djembe include a traditional goatskin head, sarong wrapped head ring, nylon rope tuning, and a superior third metal ring system to eliminate any chance of the skin slipping The carved detailing on the base of each djembe adds a distinctive visual character that reflects the instrument’s traditional roots while enhancing its appeal in educational and performance settings. The textured finish offers subtle tactile interest, supporting a more engaging, hands-on playing experience that complements the djembe’s rich, resonant sound.

Available sizes and tonal range

These rope-tuned djembes are available individually in four ascending sizes: 6”, 7”, 8” and 10”. Offering a clear progression in pitch and presence, this size range brings natural variation to a djembe circle, creating a broader, more engaging soundscape across the ensemble. With smaller drums delivering higher, more agile tones and larger sizes adding depth and projection, there is a suitable option for players of all ages, sizes and playing styles.

Sounds of the djembe

Djembes are extremely versatile and widespread, due to the range of possible pitches which can be created by hitting different areas of the drum skin. The main sounds produced by the djembe are bass, tone and slap. Bass is a low-pitched note played in the centre of the drum. Tone, a medium-pitched sound, is made by striking the djembe skin right at the edge. Finally, slap is the most technically challenging sound of the djembe: a high-pitched note played near the edge of the djembe skin, it is similar to ‘tone’ but the hand is positioned slightly further towards the centre of the drum skin.

Cultural significance

Originating in West Africa, djembes have been a key part of spiritual traditions and rituals for generations. Djembe players are an integral part of African communities, and their role includes storytelling, communication with other tribes and entertainment. Passing on cultural, religious and historical information from generation to generation is also involved in their performances. Djembes are traditionally played at celebratory events such as festivals, marriages and birth ceremonies, and these rituals are accompanied by singing and dancing.

Nice gold paper towel holder on a budget
Color: Gold-aa
For a less expensive option I was please with the assembly and the look. It did come a little scratched but mostly in hidden spots and for the price, can’t be beat. It is not super heavy feeling though, so if you want a really solid heavy holder this might disappoint, however I like that feature since I don’t want heavy things scratching and breaking my counter or tile floor. It doesn’t wobble and I like the color so I am mostly pleased, only giving it a little less of a review because it did come a little scratched

Works as a paper towel holder. Its a stick. It doesnt look like a cheap stick and it didn't break. Which means it met all my criteria. Great job.

Nice product
Color: Gold-aa
when having guests over, it's nice for each one to use their own towel instead of having a 'community' guest towel, or those fancy ones that people feel guilty using. This solved the problem.

Poem by Luci Shaw and Illustrated by Ned Bustard
Format: Hardcover
A wonderful book for all ages! Thank you to InterVarsity Press, Luci Shaw, and Ned Bustard. The book ends with A Note from the Author. Luci Shaw writes, "And if this book inspires children to write their own poem or story, or create some art, both Ned and I would be so very pleased!" Thank you.
