A very good 4 phase comedy Rubik routine

THE EFFECT:

[Watch the Complete Video Performance Below!]

The magician shows the faces of scrambled Rubik's Cube and says, "I can solve this cube in one second". However his "solution" turns out to be a joke because the cube is only a box - inside the box is actually a "solved" cube.

The magician scrambles the solved cube again, and says, "I'll try to solve all the faces in less than 10 seconds".

As the audience gives the countdown, the magician desperately spins the cube to solve, however he/she fails.

After the "disappointed" reaction of the audience, the magician asserts that he/she has actually solved the puzzle.

Surrounded by the strange looks from the audience, the magician picks up the box cube that was on the side of the table the entire time, and shows that the entire color scheme matches each other - in every side.

Then the magician says, "well, I would like to solve the cube to finish anyway", and start shaking the cube horizontally with one hand. Unbelievably, the cube starts completing, and the magician finish the act with the solved cube. (You can hand the cube to the audience to check.). A very nice and well put-together routine.

THE CREATORS

Akira Fujii, who is universally famous for "The greatest professional sleight of hand artist in Japan" and Hideki Tani, who advocates the principle of climax-ism, both magicians are titled the winners of Atsukawa Award.

One with incredible sleight of hand talent, while the other is the trick creator, this Rubik's Cube magic is created by the collaboration of those two magicians with totally different but remarkable talents. Though the routine contains unexpected surprise coming with laugh and sucker tricks, but this trick can be done easily.

FEATURES

The routine has a powerful "call back" when the spectators realize the "solved" cube actually matches the box the cube came in. Also, this act gives the performance a chance to involve the whole audience by asking them to countdown together. As you see, this routine has been composed very well, but each technique used is also created greatly.

It has a nice blend of "comedy" effects, magical and visual.

Especially, "False Scramble" by Akira Fujii can be applied to any of the tricks with Rubik's Cube.

Easy to use/see
My eyesight is bad enough I cant use my cellphone at all without glasses. The clean display face and awesome backlight on this mean I can see the time any time of day or night without my glasses or a light. Super simple to use: Pull out the plastic protector on the crown Pull the crown out 1 click to set/back in when done Push on the crown for a REALLY good back light

Almost the perfect watch
Color: Black/Blue
I have owned three earlier models of these things going back to the days when I actually ran road races. They are brilliant pieces of work. My only complaint of them was that the start/stop/split button(s)--there were two on the older models--were too small. Well, apparently Timex listens and the two small buttons are now combined into one larger one. Probably this was done years ago but I'm only now getting back into road work, so now I get to discover it. The perfect watch? Almost. I especially like this model as my eyes are not what they used to be and the oversized face makes it easier to read. The downside to this is that it also makes the crystal easier to scratch. That's always been an issue, but I can live with it. No, the real problem with this product is, was, and apparently ever shall be, the band. Now, it could be worse, it could be a resin band (like the old ones) that will crack and break within a couple of years, but no, this is a nylon and velcro wrap style which should be just dandy, but for three glitches: 1. it's too short 2. it's too narrow (gee whiz, Timex designers, it's an oversized watch, why not a matching oversized band?) and 3. it's still resin where it attaches to the actual watch. Now, I imagine it's probably less prone to breakage in how it's implemented, but if you should choose to replace it, I can see no obvious way of removing it short of cutting it off. Really? But these are minor complaints. I doubt it would be comfortable on anyone whose wrists are much bigger than my own, but replacement bands are everywhere, and this watch will keep time with style and it's brilliant at splits. Heck, it even functions admirably as a backup for my expensive stopwatches at our regular short track stock car events. For my money (and did I mention the price is wonderful?) the Ironman is still the best at what it does, and for what it can do.

Good hard use watch.
Color: Black/Silver-Tone
Review Calibration: 3 stars means it works as advertised, nothing special during use, and no amazing features. Higher stars mean better-than-expected performance and features. This is 5 stars because it is my favorite work/hard-use watch. I have been wearing one for years, and like all Timex watches, it can take a beating. I have to replace it when the band's ears get so damaged that they won't hold the band on. This has more to do with the plastic's lifespan than with a design issue. I am hard on watches. This watch normally lasts ne 7-10 years between replacements.

Typical Ironman quality
Color: Black/Silver-Tone
This is my fourth Timex Ironman watch. I own many watches, and prefer the Ironman for casual wear and sporting activities as well as swimming and snorkeling. I decided to replace an earlier model with this one rather than pay to change the battery. The Ironman has changed very little over the years since its introduction in the '80s, with the exception of cosmetic improvememnts and a larger display. I selected the "oversize" model as I was looking for a little more heft to this model. This watch fits the bill, not as chunky as my G-Shock. A pleasant surprise was the weight of the watch. This model is lightweight, another advantage over the G. It's larger than the typical Ironman model, but about the same weight. The band lacks the stiffness of some other Timex and Casio models, and is quite comfortable. Typical Ironman functions are unchanged, and the ability to "hide" various functions makes operation of the watch more efficient. There are three time zones, useful when traveling, as well as the usual chronograph/timer and alarm functions. I haven't worn the watch in the pool or ocean yet, but if experience is any guide, I expect no problems. I've never had an Ironman leak, whether during water sports or snorkeling. These are great watches for the money. I prefer 200 meter water resistance for this type of watch, but Timex has yet to build an Ironman 200m that doesn't overwhelm my wrist in weight and size. I'm not a big guy, and they are simply too large for my wrist. Looking forward to years of service with this watch. Definitely a good timepiece for the price.
