Cleaning Instructions: Results will vary depending on paint application and cleaning methods. To ensure longer lasting brushes It is highly recommended to clean carefully after painting. Clean delicately with either mineral spirit for oils, or warm/hot water for acrylics, gouache and inks.
After working with oils it is recommended to clean with mineral spirit then shape the brush hair ends with gloved hands with a very small amount of mineral oil, this ensures hairs don’t dry out and become brittle. Leave brush resting with hairs downward from ferrule to avoid mineral oil accumulation in the ferrule of the brush. Accumulation of residue in the ferrule can result in a deterioration of the glue which holds the hair in ferrule. It is recommended to not leave brush standing upright unless 100% clean & dry. When returning to paint wash off mineral oil with mineral spirit and clean with warm/hot water.
