After a four-year gap, artist Nigel Humphries returns to painting Marvel-inspired characters with new limited edition artworks, and he’s as excited as we are to see these icons again! “It’s nice to come back to the subject with fresh eyes after a few years,” says Nigel. “It’s an all-stars release of recognisable characters with a fun twist - a bit like a greatest hits collection, with a few added extras”.

Passionate about revolutionising the way we view still-life painting, the artist draws upon his childhood for inspiration. As a child, Nigel Humphries sketched dinosaurs and monsters, building upon his mediums of graphite, pencil, oil paint and more. Since then, his acclaimed collections of endearing miniature superheroes, sci-fi villains and iconic characters has brought to life some of the most popular characters of all time. By re-creating in still life, Nigel’s work evokes the feeling of childhood wonder and fun when playing with your own toys and of joy from these stories and quests.
