This antique Haviland Limoges cake plate is a rare and beautiful piece of porcelain from the late 1800s. It features a lovely moss rose pattern in the center, with hand-painted pink roses and ferns on a white background. The plate is signed at the back with two marks: a green underglaze H & Co L, and a blue underglaze Haviland & Co. Limoges. These marks indicate that the plate was made by the famous French company Haviland & Co. between 1876 and 1889 . The plate is in good vintage condition, but with some loss of gold on the trim, which is normal for its age.
