HPE 375 GB Solid State Drive - 2.5" Internal - PCI Express NVMe (PCI Express NVMe x4)

The HPE 375 GB Solid State Drive is a purpose-built, enterprise-grade storage solution designed to accelerate data-intensive applications while delivering exceptional endurance and reliability. As part of the HPE Server Write Intensive (WI) SSD family, this drive brings high random IOPS and low latency to server workloads, enabling databases, virtualization, analytics, and other I/O-heavy tasks to run faster and more smoothly. Built for modern data centers that demand consistent performance under heavy load, this 2.5-inch PCIe NVMe drive is optimized for power efficiency without compromising throughput, making it an ideal upgrade for servers and storage systems that require rapid access to critical data. With its PCIe NVMe x4 interface, it can saturate bandwidth in compatible backplanes while maintaining steady, predictable performance to support business-critical operations.

  • Optimized PCIe NVMe x4 performance: Delivers high random read/write IOPS and low latency to accelerate latency-sensitive workloads such as transactional databases, real-time analytics, and virtualization environments.
  • 2.5-inch form factor for broad compatibility: Standard enterprise 2.5" drive size fits most servers and backplanes, simplifying upgrades and replacements in data centers and compute clusters.
  • High endurance for sustained workloads: Engineered for write-intensive workloads, providing consistent performance over long-duration operations and reducing maintenance windows.
  • Energy-efficient operation: Designed to minimize power consumption while delivering top-tier throughput, helping lower total cost of ownership in dense server deployments.
  • Reliability and workloads seamless integration: Built to integrate with HPE server ecosystems, with features that align with enterprise reliability requirements, including robust error handling and data protection capabilities.

How to install HPE 375 GB WI NVMe SSD

Installing this drive in a compatible server or storage system is straightforward and designed to minimize downtime. Follow these general steps to ensure a secure and effective upgrade or deployment:

  • Power down the server and disconnect it from the power source to prevent any electrical issues during installation.
  • Identify an available 2.5-inch NVMe drive slot or drive sled compatible with PCIe NVMe backplanes; confirm that the system supports NVMe drives.
  • If replacing an existing drive, carefully remove the old unit from its sled or backplane connection, noting the location and connections for reference.
  • Insert the HPE WI SSD into the slot, ensuring correct alignment with the backplane connectors. Apply gentle, firm pressure until the drive seats securely.
  • Secure the drive with the appropriate mounting screw or retention mechanism provided by the server chassis or drive sled.
  • Reattach any cables or backplane connections, then close the server chassis and reconnect power.
  • Power on the server and enter the BIOS/UEFI or NVMe management utility to recognize the new drive. Initialize, format, and assign it to a logical volume, pool, or RAID configuration as required.
  • Check for firmware updates and validate the drive’s health using the server management tools to ensure optimal compatibility and performance.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What is the capacity of this SSD? A: The drive provides 375 GB of usable capacity, optimized for high-performance, write-intensive workloads.
  • Q: What interface does it use? A: It uses the PCIe NVMe interface with x4 lanes, in a 2.5-inch form factor, for fast data access and low latency.
  • Q: Is this drive suitable for databases? A: Yes. It is designed for write-intensive databases and other data-centric applications that require consistent, high IOPS and low latency.
  • Q: Does it support hot-swapping? A: Hot-swapping capability depends on the server backplane and chassis. Many enterprise servers with NVMe backplanes support hot-swapping, but please verify your hardware specifications.
  • Q: How does this SSD help with power usage? A: The WI-series SSDs optimize performance-per-watt, delivering strong throughput while maintaining lower average power consumption compared with traditional enterprise drives.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
